While our Cascade Pils is inspired by classic European pilsners, this beer is really a celebration of the fresh, local Cascade hops grown by family farmers right here in our beloved Pacific Northwest. It has intense aromas of citrus and pine, supported by a medium body and dry malty palate. As you savor that unmistakable aroma and long, clean hop finish, tip your hat (and your glass) to the generations of hop farmers who help us live the locavore dream every day. We originally brewed Cascade Pilsner as a special release to celebrate our 26th Anniversary and our Northwest hop growers. It quickly became our fastest growing Full Sail draft beer and our bestselling 22oz. bottle. With that warm consumer response we decided it deserved its own year round six-pack.

Clear gold color. Aroma of corn & lager yeast. Sips medium bodied with nice malt backbone. Very dry and hoppy bitter flavors which compliment. Total west coast pilsner version. Excellent brew.

This beer is $7.99 a 6 pack. Not a bad beer but we didn't realize how much variation there can be until tonight. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at the brewery in Hood River. Looking for something refreshing and hoping this fills the bill. Nice full pint glass carrying golden effervescent goodness. Full finger head. Attractive to be sure. Taste has bitter notes from the citrus and the hops. Slightly drying mouthfeel. Malty characteristics come through and provide a nice sweetness at the onset but are engulfed by the hops towards the end. It does meet my desire for refreshing qualities but overall is pretty average.

Originally sampled on 5/22/14. Clear pale yellow body with two fingers of white head. Fair amount of lacing. Yeasty and floral smell doesnt really smell like a pilsner but more of an APA, or IPA.Taste is similar with good amount of herbal and floral hops with a touch of piney resin. Malts are in the right amount for balance.Crisp, dry and refreshing.Overall not a classic pilsner but a nice spin on the style.

Bottle. Crystal clear and golden-bubbly, as a good pilsner should be. Crisp and clean, this drinks like a summer cooler, then barest whisps of flavor (for our beaten-down American palates) are straw, lemon and pine. Excellent lawnmower beer. (#5970, 5/17/2015)

12 oz bottle, thanks Poisoneddwarf- Right off the bat i smell the cascade hops and clean crystal malts- Pours clear golden with a sustaining white head. Aroma is so clean, crisp, light floral, hops. The taste is grains, citrusy, the malt is so light and refreshing, just what i needed after some heavy beers. Body and carbonation are perfect, crisp and zero flaws. Nice beer.

Pedestrian packaging, standard longneck. Very pale but intense yellow, miniscule almost-white head. Fresh, somewhat candied citrus gel aroma. Refreshing, a little mineral, moderately bitter, a little starchy and generally dry. A little fruity tang. Medium body. Good carbonation. Exceptionally average, nice light summer fare. Publix Liquors, Bradfordville.
