Bottle. Pours a clear amber with white head. Tons of caramel on the nose, pretty much all I’m getting. Solid beer, nothing special.

Very smooth, balanced, malty at the start with a caramel like sweetness. Nutty, full, and refreshing. Light hops to the end. A very good amber.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 durhambeer (2398) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - MAY 5, 2013
Bottle. Pours thin-looking amber with a small beige head. Taste is sweet, some grainy malt. Mild bittering hops. Nondescript but certainly not bad. Very thin palate.
2.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Shinskyweiser (2) - - MAY 3, 2013 does not count
Pours a dark amber, almost brown. Head dissipated quickly.
Little to no hop aroma. A very slight grape/apple note can be detected.
Well balanced to hop forward. Fruity hop character, black currant, grape, apple. Carmel notes detected. Slight roast, raisin detected.
Overall a decent beer. Well balanced east coast style amber. My palate prefers the "west coast" hop forward style.
Shinskyweiser
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Fritz123 (243) - Boca Raton, Florida, USA - APR 29, 2013
Bottle from Fresh Market in Boca Raton, FL. American pint glass. Ours a dark amber with a thin white head. Really has a nice color for an amber. Aroma of bread, some floral notes and malts. The taste is classic American pale ale with notes of malts, light bitter hops, bread, and finishes with just a little floral hops. Mouth is smooth with light carbonation and a slight dry finish.
4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 ronaldtheriot (786) - Laplace, Louisiana, USA - APR 29, 2013
Full Sail Amber has a thin-to-medium, off-white head and a slightly bubbly, clear, amber appearance, with a bit of lacing left behind. The aroma is of sweet, fruity, brown-bread malt, and the flavor is of those elements with a pleasant hop bitterness at the end of the sip. Mouthfeel is light to medium, and Full Sail Amber finishes semi-dry, refreshing, and easy drinking. Overall, this is a most excellent beer. RJT
3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 EdInSaltLake (233) - Salt Lake City, Utah, USA - APR 26, 2013
Really light aroma; citrus, floral, toasty malt. Caramel malt, bready, toasted flavor, with some subtle grapefruit/orange and floral hop flavors.
Doesn’t seem like the same crystal malt bomb I remember...
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 alcaponejunior (350) - Texas, USA - APR 11, 2013
Nice auburn color, clear, good lasting 1 finger head and pretty good lacing.
It’s a malty one, nicely so, with some caramel, toffee, biscuit. Hops are accenting but plentiful and more notable on the aftertaste than the initial drink.
Body is medium, with smooth carbonation and a good malty finish.
A very enjoyable beer, definitely a nice amber ale.

Bottle. Caramel amber color, clear, ample head. Moderate malt aroma, smooth, not sweet but flavorful. Enjoyable amber.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 ttoadee (361) - Austin, Texas, USA - APR 2, 2013
Clear Bronze, little head. Nose is roasted malt, muted hops. Slightly sweet on the tongue. Middle is caramel with nice Northwest hops. Finish has alittle hop spice to it. Pretty good.
