Good ass hops and fresh flowery ass grains on the nose and taste buds. Ahhhh. Always count on full sail for a decent brew. Loads of flavor. Very pleased with this bottle in a pint glass.

12oz bottle poured into a tulip glass.
Clear and gorgeous deep red-amber with a firm and perfect beige head.
Sweet nose, caramel malt, ripe fruit and earthy-grassy hops.
Rich caramel malt flavor, lo-med bitterness, biscuits, honey.
Medium bodied, a bit too sweet, somewhat tired but overall OK.

Bottle shared at a tasting at Ariel’s place. Better Beer Of The Month Club. Clear amber. Aroma of malt, a bit of caramel, toast, nutty note and some citric hops. Sweetish malty flavor with caramel, toast, nuts and some hops bitterness. Medium-bodied. OK.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours much darker than your average amber. To me it has a fuller taste than most ambers. Not sure it will be one of my favorites but sure wouldn’t turn one down.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Serving: from tap at Filiberto’s Italian Restaurant.
Aroma: none detected.
Appearance: average-sized, frothy, off-white initial head with very good lacing and fully diminishing longevity. Clear, dark-amber body.
Taste: lightly sweet initial flavor and lightly sweet, roasty finish with long duration.
Palate: medium body with watery texture and lively carbonation.
Overall: nothing memorable.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
This amber poured a deep amber colour with a nice creamy, light tan head. Scents include malts, caramel, bread and light hops. First taste was nice and smooth with a creamy mouthfeel. Flavours of caramel malts, tea and floral hops most prodominant. Finish is malty with a lingering light tea flavour and a medium/light hop bitterness. Very good.

"a slightly above average amber ale. well balanced, although a touch on the malty side. good session beer. enjoyable, but nothing special. worth a try if you haven’t had it or really like the style."

Poured from bottle into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer, as the name would suggest, pours a deep amber color with a one finger of just off white head. The head fades rather fast leaving a persistent film left floating atop the brew.
Smell – The aroma is rather light overall consisting of some smells of caramel and a little bit of a bready smell. Along with these aromas are some lighter smells of an earthy nature.
Taste – The taste begins with a biscuit and caramel flavor with some notes of roasted malt and a brown bread flavor. As the taste advances flavors of hop join in. The hop is initially entirely of a more earthy nature , but others of a citrus and more floral hop taste come in as the flavors advance to the end. Along with the hop coming to the tongue, so too comes some spice flavors as well as a bit more sweetness from brown sugar and molasses, leaving a pleasant sweet and lightly hopped malty flavor to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the rather average side in terms of thickness and creaminess with a carbonation level that is rather average. Both are quite nice for the style and make for a nice easy drinker.
Overall – A rather balanced amber overall. Not too sweet, not too malty, and not too hoppy. Overall an enjoyable brew.
