3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Overall, a quality Amber ale - great full aroma, nice and floral with some citrus notes. Pours amber orange (of course) with a frothy head. The taste is slightly disappointing - kind of tinny not as sweet as I’d like with an amber. Palate was quite full and creamy, above average. Overall, this is a decent Amber, but the taste is what brings the overall score down, quite decent.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle pour into nonic pint glass from Manchester Wine and Liquors. Aroma is bread, caramel, nuts. Appearance is dark amber with trace sparkle, 2-finger width frothy beige head and minimal lacing. Taste is as aroma with caramel dominating, late fruit. Palate is medium-to-full bodied with thick texture, average carbonation and sweet, dry finish. Overall, a nice representative of the style. Not too heavy.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Dark Amber with moderate head and carbonation. Sweet nutty malts, very smooth, with some herby hopping for a dry finish. On the brown side of Amber.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
5.5%ABV. Amber ale.
Poured out light clear brown. 21ºSRM
Nose is nutty and has for me that odor of old well-conditioned leather.
Mouthfeel is light soap. Palate is actually very sweet and has a bunch of nice toasted malt, but smoother and more mellow than the other ambers I’ve had. Ambers always have an abruptness to the palates that always struck me as a little rude. Full sail’s brew has a very nice smooth easy going palate that has the malt of a malted milkshake, with vanilla beans and a nice creamy finish.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
355ml bottle. (6.0% ABV) Pours a clear amber with a thin, beige head that laces. Sweet aroma of caramel malt with a hint of chocolate. Sweet flavour of caramel malt, chocolate, biscuit, peach and grass with a mildly bitter finish. Medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. This was actually pretty tasty (as the label states)... for a boring style.

12-ounce bottles. A bit darker than most ambers. Amber ales tend to be a little boring, and this one doesn’t have any standout qualities, but not bad at all.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20
Ar- subtle hop aroma here, getting some cantaloupe, hints of oranges, low malt aroma,
Ap- clear, deep Amber, almost brown. Short head doesn't hang around long.
Fl- malt sweetness throughout with a hint of pie crust, well balanced hops give some citrus pine and resinous notes finishes mildly bitter.
Mf- med to full bodied, nicely carbonated, dry toward the end
Ov- good beer just unimpressed I guess. Would like more distinct malt flavors.

Was a full bodied Amber, a little hoppier than I expected with a bitter finish. Looked lovely though!
