Dark hazy amber. Beautiful. Fizzy and crisp. Molasses. Spicy. Tastes like they used Belgian yeast because it tastes like it is spicy from hops at first, but then u can tell its from the yeast.

12 oz. bottle from Trader Joe’s. Nose of malt and yeast. Taste of malt with a little toast, caramel and limited bitterness. Not floral or piney. Sweeter than I expected and not particularly smooth or complex. Overall an acceptable amber ale.

Bottle. Clear deep amber red color, off white head. Aroma of caramel. Taste is slightly biscuity, slightly spiced toasted caramel. Decent.

Good ass hops and fresh flowery ass grains on the nose and taste buds. Ahhhh. Always count on full sail for a decent brew. Loads of flavor. Very pleased with this bottle in a pint glass. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

low caramel and scratch and easy with the butter makes this a pretty decent amber. moderate body with some hop and a bit of fruit. yeah a little spicy.

12oz bottle poured into a tulip glass. Clear and gorgeous deep red-amber with a firm and perfect beige head. Sweet nose, caramel malt, ripe fruit and earthy-grassy hops. Rich caramel malt flavor, lo-med bitterness, biscuits, honey. Medium bodied, a bit too sweet, somewhat tired but overall OK.

Bottle shared at a tasting at Ariel’s place. Better Beer Of The Month Club. Clear amber. Aroma of malt, a bit of caramel, toast, nutty note and some citric hops. Sweetish malty flavor with caramel, toast, nuts and some hops bitterness. Medium-bodied. OK.

Pours much darker than your average amber. To me it has a fuller taste than most ambers. Not sure it will be one of my favorites but sure wouldn’t turn one down.

Serving: from tap at Filiberto’s Italian Restaurant. Aroma: none detected. Appearance: average-sized, frothy, off-white initial head with very good lacing and fully diminishing longevity. Clear, dark-amber body. Taste: lightly sweet initial flavor and lightly sweet, roasty finish with long duration. Palate: medium body with watery texture and lively carbonation. Overall: nothing memorable.

This amber poured a deep amber colour with a nice creamy, light tan head. Scents include malts, caramel, bread and light hops. First taste was nice and smooth with a creamy mouthfeel. Flavours of caramel malts, tea and floral hops most prodominant. Finish is malty with a lingering light tea flavour and a medium/light hop bitterness. Very good.

"a slightly above average amber ale. well balanced, although a touch on the malty side. good session beer. enjoyable, but nothing special. worth a try if you haven’t had it or really like the style."
