3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
The aroma has toasted malt, toffee, corn, caramel, and grassy hops. The appearance is deep amber with a two finger head. The flavor is like the aroma with the emphasis being toasted toffee malt. The palate is smooth and the aftertaste is nutty and toasty with bitterness. Overall it’s good but not fantastic.

Malt, nuts, and a little metallic skunk in the aroma. Malty, nutty flavor with some hop bitterness in the finish. Nothing special, but nothing bad either.

I have been a lover of Long Trail Ale for some years as I can find nothing else I liked. Full Sail Amber might just have a place in my cooler from now on.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Poured from bottle to glass. Clear amber-reddish with creamy whitish-tan head. Aroma is sugar malt with a slight hint of roasted chocolate. Nice bitterness to balance the sweetness. A bit sharp at the end from the carbonation. CO2 and light body contributes to a really nice mouthfeel. Overall a pretty decent shelf-quality amber.
