Bottled. An amber beer with a slight haze under a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with primary notes of caramel, but also light hoppy notes. The flavor is malty with notes of cardboard, caramel, and dusty hops, leading to a dry end. The body is thin.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Pours a pretty, clear, dark amber with a creamy, off-white head. Aroma of caramel and aroma hops. Medium-bodied some slightly sweet caramel accents nicely balanced by the lovely aroma hops that don’t add much bitterness. This really is an amber to my taste. 020406

Nice amber color. Aroma of caramel and sugar floss. Very dry caramel taste, a bit metallic, with reasonable strong ending bitterness. Too simple.

UPDATED: DEC 10, 2005 Bright amber colour. Slightly metallic, crackerlike malt aroma is fairly generic. Bland flavour - stale brown bread, hints of caramel, a shank in the back, pencil lead. Man, I used to really dig this stuff. This was 8-10 years ago and the beer had hops, damnit. Today, more of what you’d expect from an amber - bland bland bland. Actually has decent yeast complexity and malt character for the style, but this was one of the beers I really got excited about. And now I don’t.
