12 ounce bottle- pours out a nice honey brown with a moderate tan head. Aroma is flowery sweet with a hint of apples. Pallet was a little thin for a true amber and the taste was almost overwhelmed by an IPA-like bitterness in the finish. For fans of IPAs.

Bottle, bbotmc. dark amber. Sweet candy and caramel and fruit cake in the nose, highly alcoholic, sweet taste. somewhat of an oily texture, full body and a little alcoholic and warm finish.

Looks like am amber ale. dark reddish brown. almost no head. Aroma is bitter, caramel, candies, some floral notes. Not a bad mouthfeel. taste is also just okay. but bland finish and a little too sweet.

Aroma is mmmm citrusy. Soapy. Appearance is a very brown amber with little head. Taste is hoppier than other ambers. A subtle like grapefruit note. Palate is medium body. Overall this is like... Too much. Itís not really malty enough to be an amber. This is closer to a pale but itís too wet and muddled. A solid beer tho.

On tap at the brewpub - Pours more gold than amber with an off-white head. The aroma has roasty nutty malt. It has a medium body with a moderate amount of carbonation. The flavor begins with dry amber ale toasty malt, earthiness and a bit of a dirty taste. The finish is much of the same. This one didnít do much for me.

Nice floral hops aroma. Somewhat generic malt flavour with a little nibble on the palate but a slightly unpleasant palate effect.

12oz bottle from Wegmans, West Seneca, NY. A golden amber pour with a scattering of cream head; caramel malt aroma; sweet earthy caramel malt taste; and thats it. A rather basic amber ale.

Best by date of 08.26.14. Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a tumbler on 06.30.14. A: Caramel and some breadiness. A: 1/3 finger head. See through red/amber body. The head burns off quickly. T: Caramel dominates. Bready sweetness and flower are subtle. P: Too bubbly and watery but satisfying like a lager. O: This wasnít complex at all, like a lager. It felt and tasted like a lager too. Itís an older style amber (1989), but itís boring today.

12 oz. bottle from Trader Joeís. Nose of malt and yeast. Taste of malt with a little toast, caramel and limited bitterness. Not floral or piney. Sweeter than I expected and not particularly smooth or complex. Overall an acceptable amber ale.

Bottle. Clear deep amber red color, off white head. Aroma of caramel. Taste is slightly biscuity, slightly spiced toasted caramel. Decent.
