Black with a dark tan head. Aroma is strong alcohol and bourbon with vanilla undertones. Taste is strong chocolate with a equally strong bourbon backing. Vanilla is also present throughout. Strong alcohol presence, noted mostly in bourbon taste. Fairly strong without being to overpowering. Mouthfeel is surprisingly smooth considering the strong flavor. Well done, glad I was able to get a bottle of this while I was in Seattle.

Clear dark brown body. Chocolatey cerry yeast, bourbon barrel in the aroma finishing with acidic lemon at the end - well-blended bourbon and stout elements. Nice milk chocolate flavor with alcohol and bourbon barrel. Good mouthfeel. Bonus dark roasty finish.

Bottle. Nose is all butter cream and bourbon. Body is the standars Impy body-dark with a beige ring of bubbles. Taste-bourbon, tannins, wood, butter, cream, syrup, slight char that works well, fireplace smoke, spiced rum. As it warms some serious soy notes come out. Very nice.

Deep black pour with a white gray head. Sweet booze nose with boozetastic strawberry and orange marmalade, chocolate liqueur and oak nose. Oaky chocolate toffee flavor. Dry alcoholic finish. There is a lot going on here, chocolate, caramel, sticky pineapple, and vanilla. A very interesting brew that I enjoyed. Ap- 4 ar-6 tas-7 pal-4 ov-17

Pours black with a medium-thin tan head. Smels oaky, caramelly, and like bourboun a little bit. Taste is immediatly strong malt intensity mostly caramel flavored. Aftertaste makes your mouth feel like you took a shot of bourbon ITS CRAZY!

Tried this again in Dec. 07 and it has aged quite nicely. In fact I’m bumping my score up a bit.

Pours a nearly opaque black with a nicely-lacing light tan head. Rich, almost pure bourbon aroma has lots of vanilla, oak and toasty caramel toffee. Body starts with some sweet toasty caramel with hints of milk chocolate, coconut and nuts along with plenty of bourbon and a nice malty presence. The bourbon character is nearly overwhelming right now, but this should age very well.

Thanks to MIBRomeo for sharing this one. Pours a pitch black color, small off white head. Nice dots of lace. Aroma is huge, lots of roasted malts, butterscotch, bourbon, dark chocolate. Ooooo sweet and delicious. Well balanced. Sweet, lots of butterscotch and bourbon. Sweet chocolate malt balances it out. Quite tasty!

Thanks Chuck. The beer pours to a deep black body with a creamy tan head. The aroma is dark fuits, licorice, vanilla, dark malts, nice oak. The flavor is tart vanilla, chocolate malt, light bourbon, graham cracker, coconut, alcoholic raisins. The palate is medium-full bodied, alcoholic, rich. Quite good.
