Jul 16, 2006 Bomber, courtesy after4ever. Pours an opaque brownish black with a persistent rocky brown head. Medium body with light carbonation. Smells a bit like somebody sneaked some whiskey into the brew: oak, bourbon alcohol. Nice roasty chocolate aromas as well. The taste is chocolate, nuts, bourbon, oak, vanilla, dried fruit, and coffee. Dry oak/bourbon/coffee finish.

Apr 18, 2009 22oz bottle from homebrewcolin. Pours a deep brown almost black with a thin beige/ chocolate head. Great nose of vanilla, bourbon, oak and some roasted malts, coffee, chocolate and dark fruits. Flavor was nowhere near as good as the nose led it to be, very boozy, not bad, just not as good as I thought it would be.

Nov 5, 2006 #500 (2006) 22 oz. bottle via trade with Buck Dich - Pours a deep brown color with a nice tan head that settles to a thin film. Very light spotty lacing. Has a wonderful bourbon, vanilla, and chocolate aroma. The flavor is much of the same. Taste a lot like an Oaked Yeti. Medium to full body. The alcohol is noticeable, but not overpowering. Feb 7, 2008 Updated: Dec 15, 2009Black with a tan head. Strong smell of Bourbon, oak and vanilla is intoxicating. Big whiskey oak boozy taste up front with vanilla and rich blackened malts. Full bodied and smooth. Finishes with a bourbon taste on the breath. Great beer, glad i have a few of these to age. 31606

Jun 30, 2007 RBSG 2007: Bottle thanks to Jordan: Poured dark brown to black with a tan head. Aroma, oaky bourbon, some chocolate and a little touch of spice to it. Flavor, bourbon, chocolate, coffee, still some heat to it.

Jul 17, 2009 Bottle shared by Zack. Thanks! Pours black, and smells like bourbon and chocolate. Taste is the same and its a touch warming. Flavorful, a bit dry, and probably the best Full Sail beer I’ve had.

Aug 2, 2007 RBSG 07. Almost black pour. The nose is almost all BB. A strong aroma of bourbon dominates with a hint of coffee and chocolate as well. The flavor follows suit with the nose. Mouthfeel is solid a very good beer.

Jun 5, 2009 22 oz. bottle. Pours an opaque black that allows no light to pass through. Very pleasant aroma of bourbon, vanilla, and caramel. The bourbon in the aroma is the flavor itself and not the vaporous alcohol. The flavor is ever-so-slightly metallic with bourbon, caramel, vanilla, and dark fruit. Thin bodied for an imperial stout.
