2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
On tap at Saraveza’s IIPA Fest, to cleanse the palate. Pours a cloudy golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is heavy on the wheat, with a slight tartness. Flavour is very wheaty, with only a slight tartness - very low acidity. Refreshing I suppose, but not so well made.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft. Clear gold with a white head. Light tart and lemony, a little bit of sweetness, and some just slightly off grainy notes. Medium dry finish, with a hint of wheat and grains. This is close to being good, but doesn’t quite hit the mark. Still pretty refreshing.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
To think that I used to deprecate wheat beers. Pleasant grassy and floral aroma, smelled. Wheaty flavour with bread and hoppy notes. Hoppy finish with a sweet bit.

I know their hearts were in the right place, but this is a disappointing miss. Medium-light body, light amber. It’s kinda sour-ish, sorta.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Growler from Bruekelen Bier Merchants. Brownish yellow clear bear with quickly diminishing head. Aroma of light citrus, hay and more fresh barley than anything. Flavor is predominately tart citrus with a slight cool candy citrus finish. Thin clean body. Great to drink all day while unpacking.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pour on tap at Avery Sourfest 2012, clear yellow pour with fizzy white head, aroma brought notes of some slight corn, grain and biscuit, sweet honey and crackery malts as well, hints of slight lemon and lactic, touch of funk, some slight lemon notes come through as well. Taste is a mix of sour grain, hints of funk, slight corn and a vegetal note, not much going on here maybe slight biscuit malt as well. Pretty watery finish.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bomber. Pours a cloudy orange color with a medium white head. An odd very rotten nose, lemons. The flavor is interesting: grainy, lots of lemon zest, some light earthiness. I imagine that people looking for a Berliner will be dissapointed, but it isn’t a poor offering.

Light gold, hazy, thin white head. Grainy malt, lemon, mild tartness, a little earthy note. Enjoyable, fairly tame Berliner Weiss.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Poured from a 22 ounce bomber. Subtle tartness, lemon, dusty, aroma of dough, slight green apple. Very mild Berliner Weisse.
