a.k.a. Chrisís Summer Delight, an unfiltered, refreshingly tart small batch beer conceived by our own Chris Haveman from 50% wheat malt and just a touch of Hersbrucker hops.

Light orange colored pour with a white head. Lots of fruity notes, not much tartness. Peaches, apricots, grain, honey. This is more of a wheat beer than Berliner. Damn.

On tap at Untapped Dallas. Hazy golden pour with a white head. The aroma and flavor are very nice. The tartness is not too strong, as expected, but I get some tart lemon notes as well as some sour wheat. There is also a bit of malty wheat notes to keep things from being too over the top on the sour side. Thin mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Really like this one.

Location: 22 oz bottle from Central Market, 9/10/13

Aroma: The aroma is unexciting, with corn, grass, yeast, and a hint of fruit
Appearance: It pours a clear yellow-gold color with a small white head
Flavor: The taste is similar, corn, yeast, some mild tartness, light sweetness, and a little dull
Palate: The body is light, it is a touch watery, has a fizzy carbonation, and a mild finish
Overall Impression: This wasnít my favorite example of this style, nor was it a favorite from Full Sail. Itís okay, but it isnít good. I could have easily gone lower on the score, but I really donít think I could have gone much higher.

a grainy, malty note. not too sour in the nose. barley malt nose. very pale gold/copper color, slight haze. minor head. soft, round, not overly carbonated. medium body. grainy, cereal (unmalted wheat) flavor. light flavor, mild lactic sourness. sourness more pronounced in finish and aftertaste, as malt dominates up front. not what iíd call a classic example of berliner weisse, but still very good.

A earthy, musty, almost funky aroma. Pours a clear pale yellow with foamy, but rapidly diminishing white head and no lacing. The taste is subdued. While tartness is present, I was expecting something more tart. Funk, dankness, horse blanket, grain, cardboard, citrus, malts, and grain. Medium-light body and crisp carbonation. Overall, the more I drank it the more I liked it. Still, I would have liked a tarter flavor.

Bordering a Belgian witbier, this is a decent approximation of the Berliner weisse style. The tartness is there, in the background, not upfront like a Kindl Weisse. Iíd like to try this with some of the German flavor syrups. Pale golden with thin foamy head (short-lived). Body is light, flavor is wheat bread with some citrusy tartness. Finish is slightly dry. Refreshing on a hot day.

Pours a golden yellow color with a small white head. Aroma itís sour wheat, grass, and old hay. The taste is slightly sour, very thin, and ends with a little funky wheat, barnyard taste. Interesting.
