a.k.a. Chrisís Summer Delight, an unfiltered, refreshingly tart small batch beer conceived by our own Chris Haveman from 50% wheat malt and just a touch of Hersbrucker hops.

Location: 22 oz bottle from Central Market, 9/10/13

Aroma: The aroma is unexciting, with corn, grass, yeast, and a hint of fruit
Appearance: It pours a clear yellow-gold color with a small white head
Flavor: The taste is similar, corn, yeast, some mild tartness, light sweetness, and a little dull
Palate: The body is light, it is a touch watery, has a fizzy carbonation, and a mild finish
Overall Impression: This wasnít my favorite example of this style, nor was it a favorite from Full Sail. Itís okay, but it isnít good. I could have easily gone lower on the score, but I really donít think I could have gone much higher.

a grainy, malty note. not too sour in the nose. barley malt nose. very pale gold/copper color, slight haze. minor head. soft, round, not overly carbonated. medium body. grainy, cereal (unmalted wheat) flavor. light flavor, mild lactic sourness. sourness more pronounced in finish and aftertaste, as malt dominates up front. not what iíd call a classic example of berliner weisse, but still very good.

A earthy, musty, almost funky aroma. Pours a clear pale yellow with foamy, but rapidly diminishing white head and no lacing. The taste is subdued. While tartness is present, I was expecting something more tart. Funk, dankness, horse blanket, grain, cardboard, citrus, malts, and grain. Medium-light body and crisp carbonation. Overall, the more I drank it the more I liked it. Still, I would have liked a tarter flavor.

Bordering a Belgian witbier, this is a decent approximation of the Berliner weisse style. The tartness is there, in the background, not upfront like a Kindl Weisse. Iíd like to try this with some of the German flavor syrups. Pale golden with thin foamy head (short-lived). Body is light, flavor is wheat bread with some citrusy tartness. Finish is slightly dry. Refreshing on a hot day.

Pours a golden yellow color with a small white head. Aroma itís sour wheat, grass, and old hay. The taste is slightly sour, very thin, and ends with a little funky wheat, barnyard taste. Interesting.

22 oz. bottle served in a shaker- poured a transparent rail thin yellow color, solid medium high carbonation, a few whisps of white upon the liquid surface for a head with a few frog eyes for good measure. Aroma of dusty and musty wheat, and maybe some lemon. Hits the mouth with a light body, malt tries to tastes like pure sunshine but it got lost even before it hit the atmosphere, finish is tart, slightly sweet, and a fart worth of sour. Itís ok- nothing worth getting naked about.

(bottle from Sparky, thanks E!) Pours a clear light gold color with streams of carbonation and thin white head which retains well. Aroma holds plenty of wheat, light funk, must, and apples. Flavor holds some light lemon zest, white wine-esque acidity mixed with mineral water, Granny Smith apple skin, and a healthy dose of wheat on the end which gets slightly buttery in the far finish. Mouthfeel is light and spritzy. This beer was pleasant to drink on whatís been a quite hot and humid day.

Pours a cloudy pale golden with one finger of white head. Nose is tart and apple-y with some grainy notes. A hint of wet hay and feet/socks comes through but very subdued (compared to others Iíve had....). Very light and dry with a sessionable tartness on the finish. Interesting flavor. Hard to describe, some raw noodle character and a bright apple skin acidity.
