a.k.a. Chrisís Summer Delight, an unfiltered, refreshingly tart small batch beer conceived by our own Chris Haveman from 50% wheat malt and just a touch of Hersbrucker hops.

Sweet, earthy/dirty aroma; kind of white wine-like? Apple-ish fruit and sour acidic flavor--again, kind of reminds me of white wine. Sweet flavor, more in finish... probably a little too sweet, relative to the sourness? Not much else malt wise.

"Enjoy by 9.7.12". Oops!

glennmastrange (2274) - hobe sound, Florida, USA - JUN 30, 2013
Bottle. light aromas all around, with straw for the malt, lemon for the hops, soap for the yeast, with faint hints of dried fruit. Head is small, fizzy, white with some slippery lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is hazy, but murky on the last pour, dark amber with a thin amount of small particles. Flavor starts heavily acidic, then the short finish is moderately acidic and lightly bitter. Palate is light, watery with a fizzy carbonation and a has a dry finish. Not as tart as other true Berliner Weisse beers, that just makes it easier to pound.

Shared bottle. Pours a cloudy pale gold with a small white head. Aroma of grain, citrus, and malt. Taste is wheat, lemon, malt, and florals. Decent for the style.

Surprise. This looks, tastes, and smells like the brewers used a Mexican Lager grain and hop bill. Itís not to style but Iím really enjoying it. Even more sessionable than its namesake.

nealblind (838) - Seattle, Alabama, USA - JUN 19, 2013
Yellow hazy pour with slight frothy white head. Aroma of citrus yeast light hops. Sour almost still beer. Tastes of wheat & lemons & lactic creaminess. Needs more of either carbonation or hops or malts to make it have more than the sour dimension. Still is refreshing.

Pours a light yellow with very little foam. The nose is of wheat, lemon, hay and some hints of lactic acid. The taste starts Lightly tart with a bready sweetness and hints of corn flavors. The finish is grainy and grassy with a yogurt tartness.

pnesbit (96) - Marietta, South Carolina, USA - MAY 10, 2013
Bottle pour of dark hazy yellow with sediment and a large light disappearing white head. Aroma of tart wheat with a hint if citrus. Taste of the same wheat with a lemon juice sour and a slight sweet malt finish. Light body that is astringent and drying like the lemon sour it's taste like. Over all nice bright drinkable tart beer that does not over so it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
