Fizzy gold with a light haze - head almost completely diminishes - nose is moderate wheat, light lactic acid, some bready/yeast notes - flavor is crisp and moderately acidic - some sour apple and light white vinegar notes - a bit of dry wheat and dusty yeast on the tail end - simple - somewhat refreshing, but there is a sharpness to the acidity on the end that makes it a touch hard to enjoy that much. (edit - second half of the bottle brings a lot more yeast into the pour, which cuts the acidity significantly - still a bit watery in flavor overall, but not too bad.

Pours a light yellow with very little foam. The nose is of wheat, lemon, hay and some hints of lactic acid. The taste starts Lightly tart with a bready sweetness and hints of corn flavors. The finish is grainy and grassy with a yogurt tartness.

Bottle pour of dark hazy yellow with sediment and a large light disappearing white head. Aroma of tart wheat with a hint if citrus. Taste of the same wheat with a lemon juice sour and a slight sweet malt finish. Light body that is astringent and drying like the lemon sour it's taste like. Over all nice bright drinkable tart beer that does not over so it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Very nice, with aromas of Weisse bier but not so stong in its flavours. NIce looks and confusing name while searching for.

22oz bottle. Orange color, very active fizz. Strong aroma of malted wheat. Tart flavor, nice lacto character. Hearty wheat flavor lasts past the tartness leaves the palate. (3686)

Mild tart aroma, pours a clear light straw with a thin white head. Very tart flavor, with a hint of wheat. If you like sours, this is one to try for just around $5 a bomber. If you don’t like sours, stay far away from this one.

Very plain and simple representation of the style. Taste is slightly tart, but more along the lines if a cider. Seems slightly under carbonated for the style as well. However it is very refreshing and an over all great session beer. Just slightly boring. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

doublebock (450) - California, USA - MAR 21, 2013
Light translucent brown with white head. Smoky and malty aroma. Light caramel malt with flavors of honey and almond. Its an easy drinking bock but it does not have a very robust or complex flavor profile.

22 ounce bottle. Bright brassy gold color. Small brief white head. Metallic lemony nose. Tart citrus flavor that reminds me ago Alka-Seltzer. The tartness turns quickly dry and finishes rather flat. Overall, just an average tasting example of the Berliner Weisse style.

Clear golden with a thin unstable white head. Nose was tangy and slightly sourish with some lemon rind and toast crust with a little earthy nuttiness. Flavor was more enjoyable, thankfully. Lively carbonation, borderline fizzy, with a med-full body, featuring flavors of lemon, light sour acidity, bright floral hops (but not in an american way...), a light tone of something stickysweet, ending on a sour/bitter finish with a light oak tannin.

Bomber shared with MrBunn. Pours a hazy golden with explosive resident head. Aromas are sharp and funky, very sweet and pungent. Taste is all downhill... Early taste is decent, but then it’s just apple cider vinegar with pennies soaking in it. Wants to be good, but it’s not. Drain pour.
