22oz bottle. Brewer’s Share Series. Pours a deep copper\ mahogany, stained- Cherry Wood color, thin eggshell colored head. Aroma of toasted malts. Some spicy, herbal, grassy hop notes as well. A good amount of sweet caramel and bread in the nose also. Simple, dry body. Bread, toasted grain, caramel. Smooth and soft Lager-ed character. Perfectly balanced. Finishes with a light herbal hop flavor, which is mostly hidden under the toasted malt backbone of this one. (3374)

Poured a nice clear amber color with a slightly reddish hue. Creamy off-white head. Lots of caramel in the aroma with biscuits. Taste is quite bitter with some light fruit and more caramel. Slightly thin bodied at first. Aftertaste has more biscuits and hops. Good!

Bomber from Beverages 4 Less in Santee, CA. Pours dark ruddy copper with a creamy/bubbly beige head. Aroma of smooth roast malt and perhaps a bit of grassy hop. Med body. Flavor is primarily smooth roast malt, and I think the hops are grassy. The finish approaches astringent, and the malt seems to provide bitter. It’s certainly bitter, and it tends towards dry. Excellent.

Decent amount flavor but not as powerful as I would have hoped. Touch of smoke and roasted caramel.

A toasty almost vanilla aroma sneaks through the soft pillowy head which laces very nicely. Although the abv isn’t anything to brag about, it is layered very nicely. I’m not sure if it is the type of malts they used, but is is a unique, still German tasting Kolsch. By far the one of the best smelling beers and one which will not disappoint.

Bottle @ home. Pours a deep reddish orange appearance with a big, light brown head. Quite rich caramel, Munich malty, toffee, light citrusy, straw aroma. A little fruity (apple, pear), toasty caramel malty, toffee, grassy, earthy, a bit nutty flavor with a floral, herbal, grassy aftertaste. A little too sweet for my taste. A bit of a disappointment but not all that bad.

bottle. clear reddish/amber with a small stable head. fruity, estery nose reminiscent of an irish ale or malty amber. palate is lightly sticky and slick. malty mostly with caramel. moderate sweetness. hop addition is upper middle for the style. i like it.

From bottle. Mild musty grain, light sweetness with a bit of hop tang. Medium coppery amber clear with rocky-foamy off-white lacing head. Medium body with medium carbonation. Starts medium sweet with musty grain notes, biscuit, and some caramel. Nutty finish with nice hop bitterness. Pretty plain but balanced and well done. Sweet nutty after.
