3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 anderson01 (191) - Idaho, USA - JUL 14, 2012
Dark ruby red in color with a thick Bubbly head. Lacing is very poor. Malty aroma. Vanilla and Caramel notes. Toasted peanuts also noticeable in the aroma. Taste like liquid peanut butter. Watery texture with a abrupt finish. Light-bodied with low carbonation. For the price a good beer.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20 brenn79 (1200) - Idaho, USA - JUL 14, 2012
22 oz. bottle- Pours autumn amber with a nice rocky light tan head. The aroma is malty sweet, caramel, nutty, some hops, but very little. Taste is caramel malt, sweet, brown sugary, but drinkable. Body is a little thin, and carbonation is a little light, and that is my biggest problem with the beer, but it makes it sessionable.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Lukaduke (1021) - Portland, Maine, USA - JUL 13, 2012
Pours an amber color with a one finger head that laces out quickly... Aromas are very subtle...malty caramel a touch of watered down scotch and a hint of nuttiness. On the palate is has a similar mouthfeel to a small beer...a balanced easy drinker with a malty round body that brightens up with a hit of noble hop bitterness in the finish. Not bad...a couple weeks past its expiration.

Improves as you drink it.
3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Syzzer (449) - Oregon, USA - JUL 3, 2012
Mellow balance of malt and slight bitter. Copper in color. Perhaps better after having the beer acquire room temp.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 notalush (4179) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JUN 30, 2012
Bomber - lightl hazy dark amber - thick tan head that slowly diminishes to a fine lace - nose is caramel, toasted bread, raisin, yeast, light sourness - low carbonation, medium body - Vienna malt is moderately rich from beginning through the middle, but the malt profile becomes more dry and biscuit-like on the tail end - quite a bit of flowery German hoppiness through the middle and finish - some earthy, dusty character - the finish is a little too bitter, but otherwise this is fairly decent.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 kidmartinek (2469) - austin, Texas, USA - JUN 28, 2012
Clear but dark amber color. Malty, nutty aroma. Smells old. What can I say. it’s an altbier so its better than an amber and worse than a pale ale. How’s that for favoritism? It leaves good lacing on the glass and has good head retention and you can tell there are a decent amount of good hops in it. I guess I should be more fair and say its good for the style, which it is.
