3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bomber from Beverages 4 Less in Santee, CA. Pours dark ruddy copper with a creamy/bubbly beige head. Aroma of smooth roast malt and perhaps a bit of grassy hop. Med body. Flavor is primarily smooth roast malt, and I think the hops are grassy. The finish approaches astringent, and the malt seems to provide bitter. It’s certainly bitter, and it tends towards dry. Excellent.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle @ home. Pours a deep reddish orange appearance with a big, light brown head. Quite rich caramel, Munich malty, toffee, light citrusy, straw aroma. A little fruity (apple, pear), toasty caramel malty, toffee, grassy, earthy, a bit nutty flavor with a floral, herbal, grassy aftertaste. A little too sweet for my taste. A bit of a disappointment but not all that bad.
