COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A generous amount of Munich and Vienna malts give this beer its copper color and toasty-caramel aroma. German noble hops provide complimentary

UPDATED: JUL 5, 2014 This beer is very very mild but it is quite good. Toasty and grainy. Not your run of the mill beer.

Bomber pours a bright reddish/copper with a large bubbly khaki head. Aroma of caramel, toffee, and cereal grains. Taste of cereal grains of dry caramel with a bitter hop finish. Simple and enjoyable.

Pours out a beautiful deep copper-brown color with big frothy tan head. Good carbonation and aroma. Flavor is multiple layers of nutty and roasty malts. Some caramel, some toffee. Well balanced and not sweet. Very slightly fruity. Smooth and very drinkable. A very nice example of this often under-rated and under-appreciated style.

22 oz. bottle served in shaker- poured a transparent light brown with maybe a shade of amber, sat very still in the glass. White ring for a head with tiny whisps of the same color, aroma of toasted wheat and a hint of rye. Hits the mouth with an even medium body, malt was fairly and nicely toasted, some hearty firmness in the middle, finish is slightly bittering and makes me want to add some Everclear to speed up the process... but in due time...

Poured a finger of head on a dark amber colored body. Looks great. It smells old (it is an altbier after all). Seriously, it has a good barnyard/hay and earth smell to it. It’s fairly complex for an alt with some mild maltiness to start, then some hop spice and finishes with a bit of burnt wood. The texture is crisp with moderate carbonation. I haven’t tasted many, but this is the best altbier I’ve had.

Poured a nice clear amber color with a slightly reddish hue. Creamy off-white head. Lots of caramel in the aroma with biscuits. Taste is quite bitter with some light fruit and more caramel. Slightly thin bodied at first. Aftertaste has more biscuits and hops. Good!

Reddish amber in color. nice off white head with a hint of caramel. Toasty malt lager-ish aroma. Crisp and dry with a bit of dark toasted bread note mixed in. Overall, not a bad find for $4.99 per 22oz. I’ll buy this again...

Bottle shared Marcus. Color is dark brown. Aroma is coffee and toffee. Taste is similar to aroma with some more sweetness.

I poured this beer from a 22oz bottle into a trumpet glass to drink. The beer had a semi-clear rich copper color with a very foamy but small off-white head that had little retention but great lacing and good cling. Its aroma was a rich blend of caramel malt with a slight floral scent, and an earthy and grainy hops aroma as well. It initially tastes fairly sweet with notes of caramel and fruit, but that gives way to a bitter grainy flavor as it sits in the mouth. The beer was a bit thin and somewhat dry with below-average carbonation and fizz, with a slightly more lively finish.

Bottle. Light brown with pillowy tan head and decent lacing. Smells like a sticky bin with raisins and metal. Tastes sweet initially then a mild hop kicks in. Full mouth feel, mild hop finish with a hint of pithiness. Not bad.
