A generous amount of Munich and Vienna malts give this beer its copper color and toasty-caramel aroma. German noble hops provide complimentary

22 oz. bottle- Pours autumn amber with a nice rocky light tan head. The aroma is malty sweet, caramel, nutty, some hops, but very little. Taste is caramel malt, sweet, brown sugary, but drinkable. Body is a little thin, and carbonation is a little light, and that is my biggest problem with the beer, but it makes it sessionable.

A - Pours a fairly clear orange-red with a finger of frothy off-white head. The head fades down at a normal pace leaving behind some lacing. S - Aroma is a mix of sweet bready and caramel malts with grains, lager yeast, light floral hops, and some light fruity esters. T - Starts off with a mix of sweet bready and caramel malts with some fruity esters and grains. Through the middle, some light floral hops come through with some biscuity malts and some lager yeast. The finish is a mix of sweet bready malts with some floral hops, fruity esters, and lager yeast. M - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Feels smooth with a sweet and dry finish. D - Very drinkable. Nice Altbier with good yeast character and smoothness.

Aroma of sweet malt. This a beautiful pour. A clear cranberry copper color with a mostly diminishing ivory head and some lacing. On the bitter side but combined with a wonderful rich biscuit taste and the biscuit flavor continues through the aftertaste. Medium bodied and medium carbonation. Overall, I liked this beer! The rich biscuity taste grabs your attention as well as your taste buds. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Interesting reddush color. As much as I’m not a fan of Full Sail, this actually wasn’t that bad! Sweet, but smooth, very enjoyable, especially in the heat. It actually tastes good, as opposed to other FS beers.

Hard fruity aroma laced with alcohol notes. Murky brown color. Initial sharp sweet-tart transitions to a mellow starchiness. Slick body with a nice bite, too sweet to qualify as crisp. Initial Pub Offering? Very funny, and goes down better than those of GM and FB.

Bomber pours a bright reddish/copper with a large bubbly khaki head. Aroma of caramel, toffee, and cereal grains. Taste of cereal grains of dry caramel with a bitter hop finish. Simple and enjoyable.

A nice alt, with standard malt aromas and a nice caramel finish. Lots of cereal on the aromas, and a burst of acidity from the noble hop.

Poured a finger of head on a dark amber colored body. Looks great. It smells old (it is an altbier after all). Seriously, it has a good barnyard/hay and earth smell to it. It’s fairly complex for an alt with some mild maltiness to start, then some hop spice and finishes with a bit of burnt wood. The texture is crisp with moderate carbonation. I haven’t tasted many, but this is the best altbier I’ve had.

Pours out a beautiful deep copper-brown color with big frothy tan head. Good carbonation and aroma. Flavor is multiple layers of nutty and roasty malts. Some caramel, some toffee. Well balanced and not sweet. Very slightly fruity. Smooth and very drinkable. A very nice example of this often under-rated and under-appreciated style.
