Bottle. Brown beer with a light tan head. Malt and light cocoa aroma. Malt and light cocoa flavor with light mineral notes. Medium boldied. Malt and mineral lingers with light darker malts.

Aroma: clean malty aroma with Noble hop character, Citrus mineral hints.Fresh.7+
Appearance: tad darker than average Alt. Dark amber with hint of ruby. Tanned creamy beige cap with some lace. 4-
Taste: medium lighter bodied. Citrussy with caramel and toffee. Some leaf-woody bitterness. Lacking some nutty woody hints. Tad too sweet with its caramel like Vienna malt side. Good dry finish. Not perfect style wise but good ale after all.

Bottle. Head is initially small, frothy, light brown, mostly diminishing. Body is medium brown. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain, nuts), lightly (apricot), with notes of sour fruit (green grapes, kumquat). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, moderately bitter. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation, lightly alcoholic. Light, watery, and sour (both in nose and mouth). Not very good.

22. Pours a crystal clear rubied medium amber with a dense and creamy tan head that doesn’t stick around for long. Nose leans from the caramel way over into a tinniness that’s not very pleasant, plus some wet grass from the hops. Creamy medium body with soft carb. Caramel, tin, and wet grass on the mid palate. Mild finish. Showing some potential.

Bottle from Total Wine, Sacramento. Pours cola with a nice beige head and a toffee aroma. There is a rich caramel malt flavor with a dry finish. A nice alt.

(22oz bomber) clear amber, ring of fine white bubbles. Nose of caramel/honey, honey comb, sweet bread, just smells sweet. Taste of light earth, cracker, butter, creamy carbonation.

Bottle:   Coppery amber appearance, thin sudsy off-white head, sparce lacing.   Toasty nose.   On the tongue its somewhat thin, simple, very pale breadiness and lightly toasted malts.   Comes across as somewhat simple.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Finishes slightly meatly, a bit nutty, with a very light mealiness.   Pretty boring overall.   Not bad, but simple and light.   At least lighter than other Altbiers.

5/2/12. 22oz bomber. Clear amber pour, lots of red, with a small khaki head that fades and laces in small, spotty sheets. Sweet caramel and malty aroma with a good touch of noble hops in there. Bold malty flavor, not bad really, with a hint of fruitiness, a touch of bitter hop character, and lasting smoothness. Not too shabby.

Check this one out, 1 ... . pours a deep muddled amber brown .. low foam .. . leather, bitter molasses, and deep tree .. . a good dose of bitterness, i like it- nothing crazy, easy .. . . I thought I saw a baby ghost the other day, But it turned out it was a tissue.
