COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A generous amount of Munich and Vienna malts give this beer its copper color and toasty-caramel aroma. German noble hops provide complimentary

Reviewed from notes. The appearance was a slightly transparent yet has a hazy brown/amber coloring. Nice one finger frothy creamy white head. The smell had sweet German malts delicately balanced into a decent smoky meaty quality. The taste was sweet and slightly meaty and adds a decent breadiness as it warms, and has exactly the same aftertaste, but the finish is a bit drier. On the palate, it sat at/about a light to medium, good carbonation for the Altbier style and good for me as there’s a decent harshness that typically felt in altbiers, also there’s a decent sessionable quality to this as well. Overall, whoah, Full Sail, where did this come from, as I think I just found my favorite altbier by an American brewer as I would definitely love to come back to this.

Bottle.
Pours a deep amber/mahogany with a nose of malted nuts with bread bits. Flavor is buttery nut with a touch of autumn leaves wettened by the first rain after the temp dips below 50 farenheit. Average mouthfeel. Not bad.

Bottle. Thanks to adnielsen for the bottle. Pours an reddish brown color with off white head. Bready, caramel, nutty aromas. Flavor is strongly toasty and caramel with some nuttiness. Alts are one of my favorite styles, and I enjoyed trying this one.

The aroma is bready, plastic, band aid. The appearance is yellow/red, white head. The flavor is sour grain, plastic. The finish is noble hop bittering, again a manufactured plastic vibe. Not good.

From a bottle poured an amber color with a good amount of head. Light malty flavor with a toasty finish.

Pours an amber color with a one finger head that laces out quickly... Aromas are very subtle...malty caramel a touch of watered down scotch and a hint of nuttiness. On the palate is has a similar mouthfeel to a small beer...a balanced easy drinker with a malty round body that brightens up with a hit of noble hop bitterness in the finish. Not bad...a couple weeks past its expiration.

22oz bottle. Rating #4. Clear dark amber pour with a dirty white. Off aromas a little funky, strange. Picking up a little butter in the flavor. Not good, it must of been a bad bottle, to bad. (2282)

On tap at the brewery. Pours darker amber with a smooth off-white head. Toasty malt nose, soft hops creep in there. Flavor is smooth and toasty up front, a touch grainy, but a nice flavor overall. The hops give balance and a soft earthy note to the finish. Overall I thought this was a delicious alt.

Looks great. Big foamy head like in the beer halls in Düsseldorf. Clear light brown color. Light toasted malt. A little to sweet and to bitter in the end compared to a tie alt but very good. Reminds me of Im Fuchsen in bitterness. Nice!

Clear reddish amber with a small, sudsy beige head. Moderate lacing. Aroma mild, but really bready, with some caramel and grassy hops. Nicely flavored, well balanced; malty but not sweet or even fruity, with a nice bitter finish. Medium bodied, a little dry, very easy drinking.
