22 oz bottle from "Lifesource" Salem. $3.99 Pours a darker amber with a small off white head, that quickly dissipates. Having trouble picking up any aromas other than caramel malt ( and this in a room temp glass). Plain malty taste..again caramel, maybe some fig in the back..weird for style..getting a wee bit black pepper. Mouthfeel is OK i suppose Really let down by this one..i usually like Full Sail but they missed by a mile on this one. Its a strong amber..no sign what-so-ever of a weizen Bock!! Luckily for them this is hard to find.

Location/Date:Bottle split with Jay on 4/22/2014.

Appearance: Pours a dark brown red.
Aroma: Aroma of caramel, light fruit..
Taste: Wheat, caramel, fruit
Palate:Medium light body,lingering aftertaste.

Summary: I realized while enjoying this beer that the bottle had an enjoy by date from March, even though I purchased it more recently. Still, tasted pretty solid to me.

22 oz bottle poured an Amber hue with very little head. Mildly sweet aroma. Taste is bland. Hard to pick any discernable flavors. I am not liking this beer. It is smooth Iíll give it that. Not good though, overall.

22oz bottle. Poured a clear golden amber color with a medium sized off-white head. Aroma is light sweet malts, some earthy notes, some light spice character. Flavor has some grain notes, sweet malts, some earthy character. Pretty enjoyable actually.

Bomber. Pours a clear dark copper color with a small white head. A big spicy fruity nose. The dominant flavor here is crisp sweet malts, dry leaves, some grapes, a bit of toffee and caramel. Pretty mellow despite the ABV. This is the kind of beer Iíd like on cask. Anyway, pretty good. Cool label.

Poured from a bomber into a pint glass. Pours a clear medium brown, with a small khaki head which rapidly fades. No lacing. Nose is faint notes of caramel and brown sugar. Taste is watery, with faint caramel undertones. Nothing special. Not horrible, but just OK.

24oz Bottle pours a clear light brown. Small but sturdy sandy head with aromas of soft fruit, apples and mellow tones of caramel and brown surag. Some light pitted fruit in the flavors, more maltiness and a touch of paper at the end. Soft carbonation and a rich smooth palate. Very tasty

Reviewed from notes. The appearance has a copper/brown colored body and is slightly transparent with a one and a half finger white foamy head that dies within a minute. Speckled spider web lacing graces the sides of the glass. The smell starts out chalky, but eventually fades and lets the true aspects of the beer come out - malty, slightly nutty, and earthy. The taste is sweet nutty/maltiness (the chalkiness does come out initially in the taste, but eventually goes away) and slightly grainy. The aftertaste has a sharp malty aftertaste and a dry malty finish. On the palate, she sits about a medium, and comes across slightly sessionable. Carbonation is kinda smooth and good for the style and for me. Overall, for the most part, I say this is a good weizenbock, but to be honest, I havenít had too many of these, however, Iím willing to come back to this, also, it kinda reminds me of a Brown Ale.

Bomber into my Aventinus glass, bought at Fred Meyer in CDA, ID. Aroma is chalky candy, very light banana, dough, minerals; not the clove and banana explosion I expect from one of my favorite styles! Pours clear copper with a collapsing medium off-white head. Taste is weirdly tart with a lingering bitter finish. Light flavor of earth, biscuit. Tastes nothing like a weizenbock. WTF is this? Tastes like an American Amber ale. Creamy mouthfeel, finely carbonated. Not bad tasting, just not to style one little bit. What the hell?

Bottle. Clear reddish amber body with a small fizzy beige head. The nose is earthy and wheaty with a slight toasted note. Minimal yeast influence. The flavor is pretty light on the yeast influence as well, still plenty of earthiness from the dark wheat though. Finishes with a slight sweetness and some toasted notes. Medium bodied with firm fizzy carbonation. Pretty decent, but a little lacking in depth. There is a bit of an alcohol kick to this one for sure though, despite it being just around 7%.
