22 oz bottle from "Lifesource" Salem. $3.99 Pours a darker amber with a small off white head, that quickly dissipates. Having trouble picking up any aromas other than caramel malt ( and this in a room temp glass). Plain malty taste..again caramel, maybe some fig in the back..weird for style..getting a wee bit black pepper. Mouthfeel is OK i suppose Really let down by this one..i usually like Full Sail but they missed by a mile on this one. Its a strong amber..no sign what-so-ever of a weizen Bock!! Luckily for them this is hard to find.

weihenweizen (1745) - Charleston Area, West Virginia, USA - JUL 11, 2014
Refrigerated bottle, best by February 2014, poured into a weizen glass. Pours clear copper with half inch dense beige head. Aroma is caramel malt, medium body medium carbonation, and pretty good big bubble lacing. Taste is big malty caramel malt, hints of yeast, some bread, and hints of vanilla in the finish. Not the typical combination of flavors, especially for a german variety, but not a bad beer, and I don’t think the age of the beer made much difference.

22 oz. bottle, consumed on 5-8-14. Simple, tangy, musty aroma features scents of caramel and apple juice. Pours a clear amber with a small amount of beige head. Simple, tangy flavor features toffee and a touch of vanilla in the finish. Dry aftertaste. Light to medium body. Lively in the palate. Easy to drink. Pleasant but simple, unsophisticated, and forgettable overall. Boring beer for which I was unable to create extensive notes because it was so uninspiring.

KansaiBeerLvrs (2086) - Kyoto, JAPAN - MAY 3, 2014
Bottle from Sugaya, shared at the Dig Bar American Craft Event. Slightly past date. Served in a tulip. A nice malty caramel somewhat yeasty aroma. The beer has a medium bodied with a spritzy mouthfeel. The taste is caramel, toffee, yeast, mild spices think some kind of spicy bready cake. Pretty good.

jcos (1541) - Maryland, USA - APR 23, 2014
Location/Date:Bottle split with Jay on 4/22/2014.

Appearance: Pours a dark brown red.
Aroma: Aroma of caramel, light fruit..
Taste: Wheat, caramel, fruit
Palate:Medium light body,lingering aftertaste.

Summary: I realized while enjoying this beer that the bottle had an enjoy by date from March, even though I purchased it more recently. Still, tasted pretty solid to me.

22 oz bottle poured an Amber hue with very little head. Mildly sweet aroma. Taste is bland. Hard to pick any discernable flavors. I am not liking this beer. It is smooth I’ll give it that. Not good though, overall.

Bomber. Pours a clear dark copper color with a small white head. A big spicy fruity nose. The dominant flavor here is crisp sweet malts, dry leaves, some grapes, a bit of toffee and caramel. Pretty mellow despite the ABV. This is the kind of beer I’d like on cask. Anyway, pretty good. Cool label.

Beachmaster (131) - Oklahoma, USA - MAR 2, 2014
Poured from a bomber into a pint glass. Pours a clear medium brown, with a small khaki head which rapidly fades. No lacing. Nose is faint notes of caramel and brown sugar. Taste is watery, with faint caramel undertones. Nothing special. Not horrible, but just OK.

24oz Bottle pours a clear light brown. Small but sturdy sandy head with aromas of soft fruit, apples and mellow tones of caramel and brown surag. Some light pitted fruit in the flavors, more maltiness and a touch of paper at the end. Soft carbonation and a rich smooth palate. Very tasty
