3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20 uncben87 (64) - Georgia, USA - JAN 20, 2013From bottle to pint glass. Pours a hazy copper with little head. Aroma is of sweet, toasted caramel malts with little hop presence. Tastes of bready, toasted malts with a good sweetness balanced by a slight hop bitterness. MF is supremely smooth with low carbonation. Overall, I don't normally drink bitters but I thoroughly enjoyed this.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Dogbrick (6015) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - MAY 19, 2013
Sample from firkin at the 6th Annual Rogue Firkin Fest at Green Dragon, dry hopped with Challenger. Pours a cloudy orange-amber color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of malt, tropical fruit and hops. Medium body with flavors of fruity hops and caramel malt, along with a bit of pine. The finish is fruity with a hoppy aftertaste. Decent overall.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 madvike (2077) - Middleton, Wisconsin, USA - MAR 18, 2013
Bottle - Pours hazy dark amber with a thin light tan head. Nose is bready and sweet caramel, lightly yeasty with a bit of herbal hops. Notes of orange marmalade. Taste has tons of caramel, nice mellow breadiness, and more orange marmalade. Nice fluffy body with decent carbonation. It’s a tad too sweet for me, but still pretty tasty.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 ngeunit1 (1538) - San Francisco, California, USA - DEC 2, 2012

S - Aroma is a mix of sweet caramel malts, nuttiness, fruity english yeast, and some citrus hops.
T - Starts off with a mix of sweet caramel malts with some nuttiness, citrus hops, and bitterness. Through the middle, some fruity english yeast comes through with a bit of floral hops and a bit more bitterness. The finish is a mix of fruity english yeast, caramel malts, nuttiness, and bit of hops.
M - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Feels smooth with a fruity and sweet finish.
D - Very drinkable. Nice ESB with a bit of extra hops flavor.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 tennessejed420 (922) - Denver, Colorado, USA - NOV 13, 2012
bomber pours slightly hazy dark orange with frothy off white head. Aroma of cooked vegetables, butter, caramel. Flavor is malty, with hops present but somewhat muted, notes of water on the finish, light bitterness lingering. Medium bodied with watery feel. Not bad but expected a bit more from full sail.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 DavoleBomb (1389) - Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 15, 2012
Poured into a perfect pint.
3.5 A: Mildly hazed dark orange color. A little over one finger of frothy off-white head. Retention doesn’t quite meet average, but a small ring of lacing is left.
4.5 S: Solidly malty with a deep toastiness. A touch of yeasty breadiness. Good caramel presence. Fairly simple, but really nice.
4.0 T: Like the nose, this has only a few flavors, but they are done really well. Caramel, lots of toast, malty sweetness. Light bready yeastiness.
4.0 M: Heavier medium body. Good moderate carbonation. Savory light chewiness. Super smooth.
4.0 D: Well made beer. No faults and great flavors.

Bottle, shared with Grippitis. Burnt orange colour with a lively beige head. Aroma is caramel with orchard fruit hops. Flavours of caramel, cooked apple, peachy nuances. Tea-like bitterness. Decent enough, but a little gassy.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20 Kimbo419 (19) - - OCT 5, 2012
Another bottle share (thanks again Crispy). Bread-y aroma, light brown in color with a decent amount of white head. Sweet, slightly hoppy taste. The hops give more of a floral quality than bitterness. Not overly hopped for an ESB. Very smooth, easy-drinking beer. Just the right amount of carbonation, slightly dry finish. Very good example of an ESB, I would drink this again.
3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 videofrog (57) - Austin, Texas, USA - SEP 29, 2012
From notes, 2/27/12:
Poured a 22oz bomber into an imperial pint glass. "Enjoy By" is on the back of the label, but the stamp is no longer present.
A: Really nice orange to reddish orange hue with a fluffy white head that dissipates quickly.
S: Piney hops and sweet malt aromas. Slight fruity esters from yeast.
T: Great balance of hops and malts. Piney and citrusy hop flavors up front with bready, grainy, and caramel malts.
M: Slightly thin mouthfeel, but spot-on for what I’ve had of other examples of the style.
O: This is my first Full Sail brew, and I enjoyed it. I like the ideas of single-hop beers for educational purposes, and the label indicated Challenger (UK) hops with 5 malts. Worth a try.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Scubatrip (584) - Annandale, Virginia, USA - SEP 15, 2012
From the bottle, pours a hazy copper with an off white head. Smells sweet and malty. Same flavors as we’re expected by the aroma. This is a solid beer.
