1.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 7/20 Kevin (1976) - Colorado, USA - AUG 29, 2009so much burnt iced tea, so little time. rough grass, and tree bark are the highlights of this red brown pour that makes me long for a glass of water to wash the taste out of mouth. i have two older brothers so i know what crap tastes like. this is too close for me. too sticky of a mouthfeel coupled with an aggressive hand with the not so tasty hops makes this an unpleasant experience all around.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 5000 (4967) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - JAN 15, 2011
Bottle:   Deep copper, large frothy light beige head, nice lacing.   Soft hoppy nose, a little mealy and astringent, with some notes of ashtray.   Hmmm, stale biting ups and astringency sum this one up.   Minor citrus aspect.   More ashtray on the backside.   Not enough malt.   This reminds me of a watered down Copperhook for some reason.   I like the color, but the aroma and taste are just a let down.   Average body and mouthfeel.   Not enough sweetness to counteract this astringency.   Backside is a little rough.   Not a refined IPA by any means.   I have had much better luck with other Full Sail IPAs, but this one just didn’t do it for me.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 portableparty (1596) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - JAN 2, 2011
22oz. Bottle to snifter. Pour is cloudy amber that has tons of carbonation which leaves huge frothy head that lingers with sticky lacing. Taste is crisp and has floral citrus hops and malty finish. Palate is sticky and crisp with a fizzy dry finish. Refreashing IPA.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Rockcrawler (197) - Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA - JUN 14, 2010
22 Ozer. Pours a deep amber with big solid head that hangs around. Aroma of resinous pine hops with maybe a hint of grapefruit and sweet honey and caramel malts. An interestingly balanced beer, bitterness comes on medium strong quickly crashing into a bittersweet melody that gives away to its powerful linging bitterness. Medium bodied and well carbonated with sticky oily texture that leaves strong bitterness clinging to the palate at finsh. Overall a very decent IPA

22 oz. bottle. A hazy amber beer. Smells of spicy and sharp citrusy hop notes as well as light malt. The flavor is sweet with sharp citrusy and spicy notes of hops, leading to a very bitter finish, balancing the sweetness well.
