Bottle: Clear amber with nice head and lacing. The nose is earthy and crispy with dry hops (columbus?). Tangy, bitter flavor with a thin pale malt note. Good finish, light balance; dry and very hoppy.

Bottle. Pours clear amber with a large, creamy off-white head, mostly lasting with good lacing. Aroma is average malt (bread, grain, straw), heavy hop (perfume, pine, spruce, resin, citrus), average yeast (sweat) with notes of apple, pear, peach pineapple, and apricot. Medium bodied, gritty texture, lively carbonation, and a bitter finish. Average duration, light sweetness, heavy acidity, and harsh bitterness.

Bottle purchased in Utah. Poured a dark cloudy orangish amber with small bubbly head. Aroma was hoppy, planty, sweet. Taste was very interesting with a lingering bitterness and hints of citrus. Pallet was low-medium. Overall not that great.

A solid pour into my New Belgium globe glass produces an almost three finger thick, lightly amber tinged head. The beer is an amber color and shows an almost clear, amber tinged, rich copper hue when held up to the light. At first the beer smells balanced between crystal malt aromatics and American hops, but the hop character soon wins out with notes of Meyer lemon, tangerine, grapefruit, brown sugar crusted candied orange zest and a touch of an herbal edge. The malt still comes through with a touch of sweet-tea flavors and a biscuit like note in the finish.

The beer tastes quite a bit more herbal than the nose suggested. There is also a firm bitterness that gets a bit green with hops towards the finish. Somewhat dry tasting, but there is a crystal malt backed sweetness here that provides a touch of caramel character. There are some light citrus notes of grapefruit that are noticeable before the dominant herbal flavors and bitterness take hold.

This is definitely a fairly bitter beer, and I like that is remains fairly light and drinkable. A bit more floral and fruity hop notes would be nice, but this isn’t as fresh as it should be either. A good IPA, that I should work to get in a fresher state.

22oz bottle from UT state liquor store in Cedar City. Pours a fairly dark brown colour with a medium tan head plus nice lacing. Aroma is pretty much pink grapefruit hops and a little honey malt in the end. Fairly tame flavour with some lingering bitterness. Maybe a little too safe?

22 oz. bottle. A hazy amber beer. Smells of spicy and sharp citrusy hop notes as well as light malt. The flavor is sweet with sharp citrusy and spicy notes of hops, leading to a very bitter finish, balancing the sweetness well.

22oz. Bottle to snifter. Pour is cloudy amber that has tons of carbonation which leaves huge frothy head that lingers with sticky lacing. Taste is crisp and has floral citrus hops and malty finish. Palate is sticky and crisp with a fizzy dry finish. Refreashing IPA.

Not much nose. Some nice hops, some emptiness, some poop. Flavor is very nice and smooth, with a great hop presence and a nice malt backbone. Nothing incredible here, but it’s easy to drink and pretty tasty.

Bottle: Hazy copper pour with a finger of creamy beige head. Lots of sticky, weblike lacing. Aroma is sweet enough, a bit malty and citrusy with a subtle amount of florals. The florals come through much stronger in the taste, but not intense by any means. Somewhat dry and unfinished. Still ok, but I had much higher hopes for this...
