COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
As the sun rises earlier and stays out longer, we celebrate the coming of spring and the sprouting of this year’s hop crop with a new beer in our Brewmaster Reserve line-up. Hop Pursuit is a crisp, orange blonde extra pale ale with a medium malt body that’s chased by a ton of hop flavor and zing of bitterness. We brewed it with the less aggressive, old school craft brewing hops– Cascade, Willamette, and Mt. Hood– to celebrate more of the hop flavor and less of the hop bitterness. These give the beer a nice and fresh citrus herbal character without a lot of intensity; instead it has a softly flavorful character with touches of orange and lemon. We dry hopped for two weeks to amplify these delicate hop flavors. Available in 22oz. bottles and draught. ABV 6% IBU 55

BückDich (5467) - McCall, Idaho, USA - SEP 9, 2010
Bottle: Pours a clear blond color with light white head. The nose is lightly hoppy, very pnw and straight forward, like "hey there, I’m a hop, it’s nice to meet you". Moving along, it’s lighter than most of their hop series, but the timing is good. Easy drinking and not pretentious in their hop claims. Clean and toasty.

Nose is crackery and bready with a good deal of floral and citrus hop notes. Nice fresh and crisp hoppy aroma. Pours light golden with a soapy head that lasts. The flavor is more crackery and bready malts with floral and citrus hops, a bitey bitterness, very sharp and lingering fruity and floral bitterness. Solid lingering bite and some resin notes as well. High drinkability level.

Braudog (5028) - Hampton, Virginia, USA - JUL 1, 2011
Bottle; golden orange with a skyscraper of a tight white-foamed head. Aroma is yeasty and citric. It drinks with a musty horse blanket essence, and with a dusting of herbal spice. Despite all that, the beer comes across as a bit shallow, light in body. The head won’t quit though. (#4157, 7/1/2011)

(22oz bomber thanks to ericandersnavy) clear amber with a film of white bubbles. Nose of grapefruit, rye, and rhubarb. Taste of bitter citrus, umami, soft carbonation with an oily, bitter finish that’s not super enjoyable. Smelled better than it tasted.
