COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
As the sun rises earlier and stays out longer, we celebrate the coming of spring and the sprouting of this year’s hop crop with a new beer in our Brewmaster Reserve line-up. Hop Pursuit is a crisp, orange blonde extra pale ale with a medium malt body that’s chased by a ton of hop flavor and zing of bitterness. We brewed it with the less aggressive, old school craft brewing hops– Cascade, Willamette, and Mt. Hood– to celebrate more of the hop flavor and less of the hop bitterness. These give the beer a nice and fresh citrus herbal character without a lot of intensity; instead it has a softly flavorful character with touches of orange and lemon. We dry hopped for two weeks to amplify these delicate hop flavors. Available in 22oz. bottles and draught. ABV 6% IBU 55

Bottle:   Translucent Amber, a little fiery, moderate to large frothy white head, nice lacing, little to no carbonation.   Soft floral hop nose, a little bit of pine or spruce.   Light hop flavor up front, lingers for a bit but then dimishes.   This too is a fairly light Pale Ale.   Clean, flavorful up front but fades quickly.   Body and mouthfeel are average.   Pretty good if you want a lighter example Pale Ale.   Great for summer sessions.   Otherwise, not a hefty/hoppy Pale Ale.

Bottle. Pours amber orange with an off white head and some chunks at the end of the bottle. Light floral hoppy aroma with very lightly sweet pale malts. The flavor is well balanced, with light floral hoppy notes and bready pale malts. Not bad.

Always happy to see a new FS product, they never blow me away but you get a solid product and get what it offers .. . Pours a medium caramel gold, medium head, light lacing .. . smell is of biscuits, sap, and english hops .. . medium bitterness, simple and straight forward, a great little session beer and at 3 bucks a bomber, fantastic beer drink! .. . Its an extra pale, i guess, basically an english ipa or pale, but i just wanted a simple brew after a bottle of shared wine and this was good for right before dinner- good and especially good for the price.. . slow down joe jack- slower ... . just stop the truck...

Bottle. Slightly murky orange-amber pour with a short white head. Aroma is pine, wet hops, dew covered grass, and spicy notes. Taste is soft lemon and grapefruit, pine needles, wet grass, spicy hops, toasted malt, and light toffee. Body is medium-full with a soft, resinous feel and a prickly carbonation. Finishes with more toasted malt, light toffee, big pine, spicy and earthy hops, more wet grassy notes, and citrus flavors. Very tasty!

22oz Bottle – Gravity Beer Market – Olympia, WA
Aroma – Nice hops aroma lots of fruit and floral in the nose.
Appearance – Dark Golden in color, Clear with a thin head.
Flavor – Nice malt flavoring with a good addition of hops. This felt bigger than a regular pale.
Palate – Dry finish with a Nice Mouthfeel.
Overall – Very easy drinking ale. Not sure on the style more like a weak amber or a strong Pale.

Wow - Full Sail really dropped the ball on this one - quite a surprise - to call the malt body on this "lean" is being kind - the malt profile is practically non-existent - goes from crackery to watery within a few seconds - hops are strong, but the bitterness is astringent and soapy long through the finish - the nose is a bit better, with citrus and mint making things interesting - but man...disappointing.
