COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This English style IPA is a full-flavored, full-bodied brew that has a big bold malt character and intense aromatics. It’s a well-balanced, golden-colored brew that has a crisp hop finish that doesn’t bite. With its palate cleansing finish, IPA is a perfect for highly spiced dishes with curry, ginger, garlic or cumin. This classic English style IPA is brewed with: 2-row Pale malt and is hopped with Challenger and East Kent Goldings hops

Hazy orange pour. Caramel sweetness, semi bitter floral hops. Fruity and a little spicy. Not that bad fresh, but this older bottle isn’t doing much for me. Even fresh, it’s not a stellar ipa. But drinkable.

Hazy golden brew with a small white head. Aromas of pine/spruce. The taste is spruce and some sugary hints of grapefruit. Bitter/floral aftertaste. Sweeter than most other IPAs, but quite unremarkable. It is just there.

Poured into a Full Sail pint glass. Golden color with a slightly hazy appearance. Thin white head that quickly fades. Aroma isn’t very strong but seems very balanced for an IPA with light bready notes as well as some floral hops. Flavor starts malty and smooth, becomes very hoppy through the middle and finishes smooth but with some lingering bitterness from the hops. Overall a nice well balanced IPA.

From bottle no. 030911-15:09-FL. Orange-amber pour with good clarity. Thin beige head that bubbles away slowly. The aroma is hopped with a rhapsody of bready malts. The body is creamy and slick. The taste is sharply bitter.

Pours a clear, golden amber, with a small off-white head. Aroma is hoppy, crisp, and clean, with citrus notes. Flavors are floral and fruity, finish is mildly bitter and dry. The more you drink, the more bitter it gets. Overall, nice aroma, nothing offensive in the flavor, but needing something else. Very easy to drink

Location: 12 oz bottle from Buy Rite - Jersey City, 1/9/11

Aroma: The nose is crisp and fairly light, hoppy, fruity and grassy notes, some crystal malts
Appearance: It pours a clear golden-copper color with a small quickly dissipating white head
Flavor: Flavor-wise, this one is fairly light as well, grass hops, pine, fruit, and light maltiness
Palate: The body is fairly light on this one, the carbonation is fairly lively, and the finish is crisp and clean
Overall Impression: Overall, this is a basically just a drinkable IPA, but nothing more then that. Easy drinking, clean, and well-made enough, but just a little too simple and lacking. After enjoying some of their other beers (particularly hop forward beers - Pale Ale, Wreck the Halls), I was expecting a little more from this one. I really just think my opinion of this one boils down to this: it is fine quality-wise, but just lacking in excitement.

Bottle. Orange golden colored with a thick layer of head. The aroma is grapefruit, malt and floral hops. The taste builds on the aroma with a fair amount of citrusy hops and toasted malt throughout the flavor. Also some pine and alcohol notes in the background. It finishes with strong carbonation and a dry, bitter aftertaste. Considering the mild hops presence and moderate ABV level, I would consider this more of a Pale Ale than an IPA. Definitely worth checking out for West Coast IPA completionists.

Very tasty and well made stuff! - Crystal clear golden color. Spicy aromas. Flavors of spruce, spice, and citrus. Not too sticky on the finish. Another impressive brew from Full Sail. Welcome to Massachusetts!
