3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 FROTHINGSLOSH (3205) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 7, 2010
Shipped to me by my wife on a trip to Portland. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy orange color with a large creamy yellow-white head that produced good lacing. The aroma was sweetish with moderate pineapple and pine and notes of bread and nut. The flavor was bitter and dryish with moderate lemon and grapefruit and faint pine. Not much malt to back this one up. The finish was dry, bitter and lemony. Medium body. Ok.

On tap for growler fills at Half Time. Pours a clear gold with a medium sized white head. Light hops, bit of citrus as well. Musky light earthiness. Medium bodied. Decent stuff with a nice grapefruit bitterness on the end.
2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20 Signalwriter (86) - Houston, Texas, USA - NOV 3, 2010
From a six-pack purchased at HEB here – There is a faint floral, hoppy aroma of this one with a good, bright medium gold color. Taste is grain and malt and – perhaps – some esters. It’s a sort of common-or-garden IPA without particular overbearing characteristics; therefore, drinkable without distinction.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 DruncanVeasey (4800) - NUNEATON, Conference North, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - NOV 1, 2010
Bottle. Strange aroma for a US IPA- kind of a cinnamon-dusted orange Fruit Pastille and peardrop character more evocative of Belgium and Kent than the Pacific US. Pours beaten gold with a trickle of carbonation and a marbled swirl of head. That jellied orange character re-emerges on the palate, which is honeyed, flowery and slightly stewed with a fresh, junipery G+T bite, and a hint of chocolate Hobnob in the aftertaste. Interesting.
4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 jebert (288) - Watertown, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 14, 2010
Pours a beautiful golden color with a pure white medium sized head and lots of effervesence. Nose is hoppy. Fairly creamy on the palate, the hops dominate the taste but it’s not overly bitter. A nice balance of hops and malt in this IPA. Pairs well with smoked turkey and Guryee cheese.

A Sim rate (bottle from Kroger): Crisp, sweet hops that aren’t agressive at all. Floral, sweet and salty flavour. Hops that don’t kick your ass with flavour, but delicately tantalise your tongue. It’s pretty good.
3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 redave (165) - squaw valley, California, USA - OCT 3, 2010
Found this in a leftover Ice chest, not sure who left it, Thanks!
Pours a nice crisp clear gold. Nice fine bubble, white head, that fades to a thin top, some lacing.
Aroma, pretty standard IPA, citrus, spiciness.
Taste, [just had a fair APA, and this was a nice response] Crisp spicy malt thing going on, pretty good aftertaste. pretty easy drinking,
Not a West Coast IPA, but drinkable, Fair body. I wouldn’t go looking for it, but I’d drink it again.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 boccefloyd (101) - Bon Air, Virginia, USA - SEP 29, 2010
Pours a nice clear gold w/ a small off-white head that disappears rather quickly, however, it does manage to lace the cup. Pine with a hint of citrus over a caramel sweet malt base. Medium-light body, thin in the finish and dry w/ bitter hops in the finish. Pine and a hint of citrus over caramel malts. Fairly balanced. Not a great IPA but not a disaster either.
