COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This English style IPA is a full-flavored, full-bodied brew that has a big bold malt character and intense aromatics. It’s a well-balanced, golden-colored brew that has a crisp hop finish that doesn’t bite. With its palate cleansing finish, IPA is a perfect for highly spiced dishes with curry, ginger, garlic or cumin. This classic English style IPA is brewed with: 2-row Pale malt and is hopped with Challenger and East Kent Goldings hops

Tasty run of the mill NW IPA. A bit too balanced if you know what I mean. Great if there’s nothing else available.

On tap at Full Sail in Hood River. Colour... golden amber with a thick head. Nose... lightly piney hops, grain and some malt. Palate... mildly hoppy and somewhat piney, light citrus and plenty of grain. Rather so-so for an IPA made on the west coast.

bottle thanks to bhensonb. poured gold with a generous white head. aroma of pine and florals with the flavor being much the same with the addition of some very slight medicinal notes. body medium-heavy with relatively low carbonation.

A fizzy yellow beer with a big white head. Aroma is bready yeasty malt, a vague fruitiness but not really hoppy at all. The flavor has a bit more hops, of the fruity variety, and a little bitter but really just kind of watery. The one good thing i can say about this beer is you don’t taste the slightly elevated ABV. Boring, one of my least favorite IPAs, if you can even call it that.

12 ounce bottle purchased at Trader Joe’s ($1.09). Pours a mostly clear honey-amber color. The thin off-white head soon disappears into nothingness. Nose is mandarin orange, sweet tropical fruit (lychee), and some kind of not-so-appealing vegetable quality. Tastes predominately of fruity hops with an astringent quality. The taste is rather sharp and not in a good way. I think I prefer my IPA’s with US Pacific Northwest hops -- surprised that a brewery in Oregon did not opt for "local" hops. At least it was cheap!

Good PacNW microbrew IPA. Not as citrus as expected for this style beer. Aftertaste left the best impression. Would buy this one again.

God damned bottle cap tore as I was removing it and cut me, thank God for tetanus shots! That’s what I get for not twisting it off. Golden yellow in color with a fluffy off-white head gleaming like new snow, seriously it looked sparkling and left some nice lacing on the glass. The smell is bready, the taste is juicy and quite balanced. There are some floral hops up front and a slightly bitter aftertaste. Good stuff and quite drinkable. This bottled brew from a restaurant poured a small sized head of foamy fine to large sized bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a slightly hazy softly carbonated light orange brown colored body. The mild aroma was hoppy and floral. The crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. Thegood flavor contained notes of balanced pinmey hops and floral hops.
