It is intense, not necessarily well balanced though. Pretty gold color. Not anything like the IPAs from Bells.

Aroma: A pleasant citrus aroma with mild clean malty sweetness. Rather pleasant, though I would like hop aroma to be stronger. Appearance: Pours bright gold. The head is tall and white. As the head crashes it leaves wonderfully thick lacing on the glass. Flavor: The bitterness is surprising subtle for 60 IBU beer. My first glass initially had a mild yeasty taste that faded quickly. In the first few tastes the bitterness was in the forefront. As I drank the beer, it became a balanced beer; neither the hops nor the malts over power the other. Mouth feel: It a medium bodied beer with some carbonation. Overall Impression: I prefer the hops to be more prominent in an IPA. Though I could smell the citrus, they should be more prominent in the aroma and should the hops (citrus, piney flavors, etc).

Pours an orange amber with medium carbonation. Little head on this one. Hoppy aroma, as expected, and not much else. Flavor is ditto, and a bit metallic. There’s a little sweetness here too. Not as big as most IPAs. Mothfeel is medium, and appropriate of the style. Decent overall, but very forgettable. Full Sail really shouldn’t go on and on all over the carton about how great they are. Especially when most of their stuff is just mediocre.

On tap at Full Sail in Hood River. Poured a clear darker gold. Aroma of citrus, earth and flowers. A bit lacking in refinement; both in flavor and some astringent qualities. Average beer.

(bottle). Pours a yellow color. Medium size white head. Moderate lacing. Hoppy aroma and hoppy taste. Somewhat astringent on the palate. Finish is smooth and somewhat sticky. Soft carbonation.

Golden with thin white head. Some hop resin on the nose with a little caramel. Some hops on the palate, but rather undistinguished. Just OK.

Pours copper with a thin white head and some haze. Smells caramelly and piney. Tastes resiny with a lightly bitter finish.

bottle: poured amber with a small to medium head. Aroma was light of hops with an sour smell. Sweet malt flavor with a hint of hops flavors and slightly bitter end. I’m not a big fan of bitter, but I have found I like IPA’s. This beer was good, but lacked intense hops flavor and smell of other IPA’s.
