UPDATED: MAR 20, 2009 Nice clear amber pour, great flowery aroma, thinning white head, moderate hops, finishes only slightly dry, a great introductory IPA for those who are not familiar with the type.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 carruthm (1396) - Seattle, Washington, USA - FEB 4, 2009
light bodied in color with a decent hop bite to it, and some mild citrus aromatics. Rather ordinary PNW IPA.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 spikester (602) - Salem, Oregon, USA - FEB 2, 2009
From a very fresh bottle. Clear copper amber with a dense one finger off white head. Left a very good amount of fine bubble lacing. Aroma is piney hops and some caramel. Taste is earthy bitter hops with a modest amount of malts. About halfway the bitterness becomes more pronounced and the grapefruit rind takes over. Carbonation is just right and the finish is dry bitterness. Overall a fine IPA from Full Sail.

Bright gold to copper in color. Clear with a small head that has a strong flowery and hoppy aroma with hint of grass. Taste is strong hoppiness with strong bitterness in the after taste.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 mmmbeer (987) - Austin, Texas, USA - JAN 29, 2009
12 oz. bottle served in shaker- poured mostly transparent light dirty copper, low carbonation, half finger off white head formed and tried to lace to the best of it’s ability. Aroma of pine, grapefruit, with notes of caramel and malt in the background. Hits the mouth with a low-medium body, malt is present but a shade weak, hops evenly distributed come in the middle and finish. It serves it’s purpose, and it works in my book.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 aletales (73) - , Oklahoma, USA - JAN 26, 2009
As this IPA poured I could smell citrus and malt. In the glass it was amber with a thin head. Carbonation was lively, and seemed to overpower the malt and citrus leaving a vacant first impression in the mouth. Hops, though never overpowering took over in the finish.

Bottle. Pours a clear light orange with a small head. Aroma of wheaty/bready malt and cracker notes. Flavor is sweet and fruity, with some cracker notes. Hops don’t really make much of a presence. This is almost ESB-like. Still, it’s quite enjoyable.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 blazingspiral (170) - Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA - JAN 21, 2009
Clear, golden-amber with small head that fades quickly. Aroma of damp, fertile soil. More malt than hops in the nose. This IPA really has an Old World approach, and it succeeds in that regard. A fantastic balance of sweet/bitter flavors has been achieved here. However, if you’re looking for a West Coast hop bomb, look elsewhere.
