3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Transfer from BA review on 10-5-13-
Poured from bottle into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a clear golden color with a one finger white head. Tons of tiny carbonation bubbles are seen streaming up through the brew. The head has a great level of retention, very slowly fading over time to leave a good level of streaky lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is big of a citrus hop of lemon and grapefruit with a strong cracker smell. Along with these smells are some sweeter aromas of an orange nature and some other hop aromas of an herbal and spicy pepper nature. Overall the aroma is quite inviting.
Taste – The taste begins with a light caramel sweetness and a bit of a cracker taste. Upfront there is also some hop of a grassy and grapefruit nature. As the taste moves on, it dries out with the caramel leaving the taste profile. The grapefruit grows more intense more toward the end with an increase in the grassy flavors and a new presence of a bit of herb. In the end, a dry, bitter, and slightly unbalanced hop flavor is left to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the thinner side with a carbonation level that is on the lower side as well. The thinner body is quite nice for the drier and crisp tastes of the brew, but a higher carbonation level would have been slightly more appropriate.
Overall – Not really anything too special here. A little too unbalanced in its bitter and dry flavors for me.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Poured an orange tint to a golden hued body with a fairly small off-white head. Aroma is quite floral, some malt sweetmess evident, but reminded me of European hops. Flavour brings some caramel yet it is somewhat overrun by a fairly acidic and astringent metallic hoppyness… I was expecting far more form this IPA. The finish is crisp and dry with bitter acidity and rendering of grapefruit peel. Ok IPA, but there’s so much more out there.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pours gold with a white head. Aroma has a little honey, lemon, and a little bread maltiness. Light body, medium carbonation. There’s some light honey, lemon, caramel, some metal... It’s perfectly drinkable, but I wouldn’t revisit.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Tap at Full Sail in Hood River. Mild citrusy nose, with some solid roast notes. Pretty, bright straw color. Baby-food level of hopping, crisp and clean maltiness, some dark overripe fruit. Medium body. Nice, but not much as an IPA (doesn’t seem like 60 IBU).

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Medium gold pour, thick creamy head with bits of lace. Nose is roasted grain and a bit of spruce. Middle is balanced sweet malt and bittering hops. Finish is pleasant, but not overpowering hop dryness.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Grassy/citrusy smell, pours a deep amber with a bit of head that lingers. Taste: a slight bitterness, nice roasted hop flavor with a watery finish. Light carbonation. Not bad at all.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Presentation: It was poured from a brown 12 oz bottle into a pint glass. Appearance: The body has a coppery color with a light haze and a tall light tan head. The head holds on well and makes some slick lacing. Smell: The nose has a big malty and wheat like yeast character which is balanced by an equally big hop presence. Taste / Palate: It?s flavor matches the aroma and comes via a full and smooth palate. Hop bitterness is herbal with a touch of grapefruit and it lingers long on the tongue.
