COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This English style IPA is a full-flavored, full-bodied brew that has a big bold malt character and intense aromatics. It’s a well-balanced, golden-colored brew that has a crisp hop finish that doesn’t bite. With its palate cleansing finish, IPA is a perfect for highly spiced dishes with curry, ginger, garlic or cumin. This classic English style IPA is brewed with: 2-row Pale malt and is hopped with Challenger and East Kent Goldings hops

This came to me as a gift along with a Sam Adams IPA and some other beer I wouldn’t comment on. It is a decent IPA but I probably wouldn’t buy it because I have "house mouth - meaning I compare everything to Stone and this doesn’t make it.

Pour from bottle, golden in color with short but lasting white head. Easy IPA, a bit toned down in Comparison with its heavier hopped counterparts ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Aroma has orange and pine. Taste has orange, citrus, pine and resin. Bit on the sweet side, which works against the drink here. Shallow bpdy, but a good beer overall.

Best by 23JAN13 Pours a nice golden ale with a near solid sheet of fine white foam. Brilliant clarity. Smells like grain, simple grain and some hints of herbal hops - not anything like the current trend in IPA, more english and more oxidized. Flavor doesn’t diverge much from the nose: oxidized malts and bitterness with little depth and complexity. Not impressive. Medium bodied with sharp carb and an off dry finish. This beer is too one dimensional and a little oxidized for my preferences. Serving type: bottle 10-08-2012

Smooth with no after taste and easy to drink with a great golden color but small head. You will be satisfied! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz bottle from Brewmasters in Wilson. Golden brown hue normal clarity with mostly diminishing white head, virtually no lacing. Sweet white wine aroma. Light citrus hop on the initial taste, same on the finish. Oily texture on the palate. Not sure if I would buy this again.

A solid beer. Most will rate it lower in competition with west coast ipa’s, but as an English IPA I really enjoyed this beer. Solid hops balanced with a clean biscuit malt base. Cool to taste a solid English IPA that isn’t trying to be something it isn’t.
