3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 djd07 (1407) - Houston, Texas, USA - MAR 15, 2008
Bottle. Pours a clear orange golden color with a medium creamy off white head that lasts awhile. The aroma is very hoppy with some fruit. Good lacing on the glass. The taste is a sweet hop with a clean finish. A good IPA from Full Sail
3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 SamGamgee (2451) - down the whirlpool, California, USA - MAR 14, 2008
Rating number 300, going back to the first IPA I ever had, probably a couple years ago with my dad. I thought it was suuuper bitter back then, and my how things have changed. 12oz bottle from TJ’s. Dark, clear gold with a lasting whote head and carbonation trails. Mild grassy, lemon, and mineral aroma. Bready, grainy malt topped off with tart, citric, grassy, and woody hops. Medium body with smooth carbonation. Definitely a mild biterness for an IPA, and mild hops in general. I’m digging the english influence and hops, but it doesn’t seem to go far enough into the English side of character and gets stuck in an akward limbo.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Sparky (2128) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - MAR 8, 2008
Bottle. Pours a golden amber color with decent head and nice lacing. The nose is light citrus hops with a bit of pine. Palate is light malt and an overly bitter grapefruit aftertaste that lingers for a while. Not one of the better IPAs I’ve had.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 drfabulous (2140) - Lexington, Kentucky, USA - MAR 7, 2008
English style. You get that "musty" hops taste. Less pine, less intense. After eating Mexican all day in Austin, it’s a nice break before the heavy drinking.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 BeerZack (116) - Austin, Texas, USA - MAR 5, 2008
Clear shiny copper color with a white one-finger head that quickly settles to a thin ring of foam that leaves some decent lace.
Sweet and slightly roasty grainy impression, caramalt.
Tastes like it smells. Mostly a light roasted grain impression, bit of yeastiness and a clean herbal hop bittering finish.
Medium-heavy carbonation with a medium body. Decent IPA on the mild side with clean balanced bitterness reminiscent of some high hopped American Pale Ale or "Amber".

A fair IPA that could have more hoppiness. I will admit to liking Wreck the Halls more and this doesn’t stand up.
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 jarndyce (38) - Florida, USA - FEB 29, 2008
Bottle. Bought at Trader Joe’s. Fairly strong fruity/citrus aroma. Solid flavor. Medium blonde color. Nice head. A cavalcade of whimsy in my mouth. A potential session beer. A very balanced IPA. Would stock this one in my fridge. I paid $5.99 for a sixpack. A total bargain.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 hotstuff (3213) - Indiana, USA - FEB 28, 2008
Bottle. White small head that mostly diminished, sparse amount of lacing, transparent, visible carbonation, and a yellow golden hue. Nose was caramel, hoppy, semi-sweet, and fruity. Dittl for the flavor Tingly mouthfeel and light-medium body. Nothing special about this one IMO, rather a boring beer, and not one I’ll seek out again.
