COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This English style IPA is a full-flavored, full-bodied brew that has a big bold malt character and intense aromatics. It’s a well-balanced, golden-colored brew that has a crisp hop finish that doesn’t bite. With its palate cleansing finish, IPA is a perfect for highly spiced dishes with curry, ginger, garlic or cumin. This classic English style IPA is brewed with: 2-row Pale malt and is hopped with Challenger and East Kent Goldings hops

I’ll be honest. Full Sail IPA is most likely suffering from the Sierra Nevada Torpedo I’ve been drinking all week. It’s not that this beer is a bad IPA, but it never builds upon the initial notes of citrus and herbal hops, growing bitter and dull as you work through the pint. Still, the first few sips go down easy enough, just not enough to endear this brew to my jaded taste buds. Like I said, this beer loses points for being slightly above average in a market flooded with great IPAs.

Hazy amber/orange color; Medium slightly creamy body; Aroma of floral hops, citrus, & some malt; Flavor of slight sweet malt, pine/floral hops, citrus, and some fruit; Finish is slightly bitter; Overall, average IPA for me.

Not overly complex or mind blowing, but also not overdone. Nice balance between a pale maltiness, caramel in the background with a good, fresh hop flavor that’s dry on the palette. Some citrus notes in there as well. Slightly grassy. Very drinkable and refreshing IPA, though not mind blowing.

Bottle. On first taste this beer was very sour with a strong citrus/grapefruit flavor. After a few more sips it mellowed and tasted much better. The sourness was more than I prefer, though I like the grapefruit flavor. I still much prefer the Fifty-Fifty Rockslide IPA as an example of the style.

Good PacNW microbrew IPA. Not as citrus as expected for this style beer. Aftertaste left the best impression. Would buy this one again.

12 oz. bottle. Slight bitter front end punch with a bit of sweetness on the back end. Not as strong of a hops flavor as I would have liked for an IPA. A forgettable offering.

I enjoyed it. Crisp, and clean with a mild hop aroma. Minimal head retention. Clear golden-bronze color. Not as hoppy as I would’ve liked but nevertheless, nicely balanced and very drinkable.

Tap. Amber clear, bit of white head laces. Nice Hoppy aroma some pine, citrus, a bit of malt. Taste is more Hoppy, earthy. Light bitter finish, decent ipa.
