2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottled. Pours pale to medium gold with fast-receding white head. Sharp aroma of grape and orange peel. Flavor opens with a kick of hop bitterness that lasts through to the end, overpowering the light malt presence. Has something of a medicinal quality. Finish is rough. Thin mouthfeel, light-bodied. This one gets off to an ok start, but it really lacks balance, overall.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Solid NW IPA. Very citrusy, I want to say grapefruit, on the nose. Refreshing. Quaffable. Good middle of the road bitterness and doesn’t linger on the palette unnecessarily long.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
355ml bottle. Pours a slightly golden orange with a large, frothy, long lasting, white head that laces nicely. Sweet aroma of grapefruit, peach, tropical fruit, caramel malt and grass. Sweet flavour of caramel malt, grapefruit, peach and grass with a dry, bitter, hoppy finish. Medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. Ok.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured out Amber. 12ºSRM.
Nose has wet funky malty aroma. Pineapple and citrus and dank, moist, humid aromas.
Mouthfeel is thick soapy. Palate has full-bodied malt with a nice thick graham cracker and barley toast flavor. This is a perfect platform on which to appreciate the hops which are citrus, pine, grapefruit peel, bitter melon. There is a slightly spicy but bitter component to this, so I’m going to say hyssop.
Finish is admirably and luxuriously long. Bitter melon, resin, raw pine needles, sap and a pleasantly floral component suggesting freesias.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours a clear golden amber with a thin head and minimal lacing. Smells woodsy and fruity. Has a very light taste, rather watery, but is very well balanced overall. Decent bitterness and very good aftertaste. Best on a hot day.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
In a bottle in Miami Beach 060316 11:23 code. Clear light amber color, smell is sweet malt and English hops. Metallic taste detracts significantly from an otherwise nice light British style IPA. I wonder what their dO2 is at bottling; this is oxidation. A shame, it is otherwise pretty tasty.

Bottle. Translucent amber orange pour. Aroma is earthy hops with a little citrus in there as well. Flavor is earthy, malty, slightly citrusy, and slightly boozy. Finish is bitter. Level of carbonation is high. Really easy to drink.

3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Yellow golden clear pour, smallish off white head. Minimal lacing. Aroma is bread, mild herb, mild floral. Light sweetness, bread, lemon. Average carbonation. Mild bitter finish, monochromatic. What you would expect from an "Un-American" IPA.
