COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This English style IPA is a full-flavored, full-bodied brew that has a big bold malt character and intense aromatics. It’s a well-balanced, golden-colored brew that has a crisp hop finish that doesn’t bite. With its palate cleansing finish, IPA is a perfect for highly spiced dishes with curry, ginger, garlic or cumin. This classic English style IPA is brewed with: 2-row Pale malt and is hopped with Challenger and East Kent Goldings hops

(Bottle) Frothy, white with nice lacing. Golden amber body without carbonation. Nose is mildly off. Strong malt notes for an IPA, mossy horse blanket. Very bitter hops, citrus, creamy. Lactic and dry, bitter finish.

12 oz bottle. Golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma is of spicy hops and some faint resin. There is a distinctly sulfurous and vegetal aroma in here as well, that I’m not digging. Flavour has a light malt backbone with some wet, dank, hoppiness. On the finish there is a touch of orange/grapefruit. No real punch in this one and the bitterness is definitely lacking. Not a great example.

Thanks to DarkElf for this beer.

Poured an effervescent golden with a fizzy white head. Interesting aroma of piney hops with a touch of underlying dirty diapers. Flavor is bland, dry hops with way too much toffee dominating the palate. A disappointig IPA on many levels.

Head goes quickly pale white with a thin layer of foam lingering. Color is a tint related to the label on the bottle a light hay orange. Nose isn’t particularly strong. It’s dry, citrus bitter on the hops. If you dance your tongue in a mouthful it will get peppered with some peppery flavorings. The hops are very strong and flair out in the finish.

Cloudy, with a thick head. Major hop aroma, with citrus and pine dominating, Over hopped body, with no malt noticable.

Draught. Light copper. Gentle, pine & grapefruit hop blend in the aroma but the aroma is very subtle. Meek body and malt profile and the hops arn’t even vibrant or very flavorful, just a bit medicinal and piney. The malt presence must have perished along the way from Oregon to Colorado, which is something I find in so many of Full Sail’s smaller beers.

Courtesy of Pailhead. Very bland overall, almost no aroma to speak of with only a slight hop bitterness in the finish.
