1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20I’m dissapointed: I drink an IPA for the hops, and this one didn’t have it. I consider the Bridgeport IPA mildly hoppy, and this didn’t even come close. It was a fine beer, perhaps, but not for an IPA, maybe meerly a pale.

Clear copper pour with a creamy white head. Aroma of hops, grapefruit, caramel, and pine. Grapefruit, caramel flavor with some pine and hop ending. Easy drinker. Nice beer!

Mild hops out of a bottle to a glass. Dark amber color. Good head, with mild hoppy flavor. Good palate.

A very refreshing IPA that isn’t that bitter. Typical hop presence in the nose, followed by a semi-sweet malt backbone. Slight sticky mouth feel, which is appealing. Light orange color and thin head with lacing.

More malt and earthiness than most IPAs, caramel nut flavor leads to a skunky dirtiness and a hoppy finish. Not a standout IPA.

In the bottle... not much aroma..light golden.... not a bad...not the best... could have a few...

cloudy dark yellow appearance. pretty good aroma though. bread, hay. leaves a dry taste in my mouth. A better than average beer. Not much of a citrusey flavor.

Slight citrus with a hint of spruce aroma. Light mouth feel overpowered by bitterness with only a slight hop cut to it. More of a lager with more hop than your run of the mill mainstream beer.

Bottle from Capone’s. Pours translucent dark straw with splotchy off-white head. Nose is very spicy, with white pepper, earthy florals, pale malt, noble hops. Tastes hoppy, in a noble sense, with a lot of bittering flavor, white peppery spice, pale malt, and a big IBU load.
