COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This English style IPA is a full-flavored, full-bodied brew that has a big bold malt character and intense aromatics. It’s a well-balanced, golden-colored brew that has a crisp hop finish that doesn’t bite. With its palate cleansing finish, IPA is a perfect for highly spiced dishes with curry, ginger, garlic or cumin. This classic English style IPA is brewed with: 2-row Pale malt and is hopped with Challenger and East Kent Goldings hops

A good example of a NW IPA. Good aroma followed by nice hops and bitterness.

Pours clear gold with a white head. Aroma is pine, florals and some grass. Taste was lightly sweet with medium bitters. Slick and crisp.

Pours a brilliantly clear amber sunshine. Modest carbonation. A thick and dense off white head about 1/2 in. tall, thats long lasting and leaves nice lacing on the glass. Aroma has a fine hop bouquet that smells of floral and fruits. Malts are light and in reserve. Taste is hoppy but not overbearingly so. Moderation is the key here. Malts are light and serve really only to act as a platform for the hops. This beer has medium weight on the palette. Its bitter but seems only around the edges. Its dry and clean, no aftertaste. I think this is a pefect example of an IPA. It’s good to drink hop bombs. It’s good to drink more malt forward English style IPA’s. But, it’s also good to have middle of the road. This beer is hoppy but not much, malt but not much, bitter and refreshing... it’s in there. This beer was good to the last drop.

Appearance was orangeish golden with creamy diminishing off white head, spotty lacing throughout glass. Aromas where mild sweetness malts then mild citrusy hops and doughy bready yeasts come to play.Taste was sweet malty backbone then a mild hops overtones but not bitter like most west coast are. More like a pale then an IPA. Palate was smooth creamy carbonation then a caulky bite of hops, yet mild. Medium body with a long slick finish. Easy IPA to drink...

12 oz bottle from Trader’s Joe. Pours deep golden-orange with a short lasting white head. Aroma is of citrusy hops, supported by caramel malt and orange fruit. Body is medium-full and tangy. A lot of citrusy hops, balanced by caramel malt and ripe fruit. Long finish is mostly dry. Nicely balanced, easy drinking IPA.

Pours a slightly hazy gold color with small white head. Faint citrusy aroma. Moderately bitter, not as strong as many other IPAs. Medium body with a crisp bitter finish; small notes of citrus. Average.

Clear golden pour. Pine and a little grapefruit, but neither very overpowering. Not too bitter; a good beginners IPA.

Originally reviewed: 3/13/09. Pours a translucent brownish orange with a massive white foamy head resting comfortably on top. Retention is stellar. Decent globs of lacing on the glass edge. Smells very yeasty and bready. Some weird vegetable thing going on in there as well. No pine, no real citrus presence. Different. The hop bitterness is there, but very subdued. This a much more malty IPA than I am used to. I like the citrus hop kick in my beer, but this is pleasant no-less. Bready warm feel to it. Not too thick, not too watery. This really wasn’t what I was expecting, a little underwhelming. In a market flooded with this style, why reach for this one?

Very classic rich, soft, mildly sweet IPA.The nose contains aromatics of grassy and pine hopping. Flavors are boldly hopped, bitter with light citrus meddling with pale malts. The finish is a lingering pepper bitter, with a tingling mouthfeel. A semi-oily palate. I am impressed with this company. Rock on!!!

Pours a clear light orange with a thin layer of head. Aroma is slightly bittersweet malts. Taste starts slightly sweet and then finishes bitter. Very crisp and drinkable but all in all not a very distinguishable beer, somewhat mild for an IPA. Not bad though.

Bottle. Pours pale golden colour with white lingering head. Light hoppy aroma and taste. Would be a good introductory IPA as it doesn’t pack too much of a hoppy punch. Not very complex but I like it.
