12 oz bottle 10/4/07: Light amber w/a yellowish highlight and a thin, but lasting off white head. Grassy, resiny, herbal, and spicy hops up front! Medium bready/biscuity malt w/ a lightly toasted note are behind in the race compared to hops! Pretty clean of esters, and becomes slightly woody as it warms. Hop balanced flavor with woody, light almost citrusy, but mostly herbal to grassy dominates! Balanced to bitter, but pleasant. Malt plays a supporting, but definitely not dominant role. Very low bready malt and caramel is very light. I personally would love to see more malt character in this flavor wise! Dry finish, hops dominate aftertaste (grassy, herbal, resiny) Dry, hop astringent mouthfeel, medium carbonation, and a lighter medium body. Too hop dominant all the way around for my liking! I’d like to see more malt, but okay for what it is.

Jul 3, 2008 Pale orange color, rather clear. Sharp palate but a poor and harsh taste on the throat. Aroma is horrible... a bad sort of bitter. Taste was worse. In my opinion this been never should’ve been made... horrible. Bring out the tar and feathers!!

Jul 2, 2008 Alcohol dominates smell, taste is suprisingly minimal, light and fruity and REALLY thin, a double recipie would compare to a big (single) IPA.
I feel like I should add a point or two for their corp. ideology, but I wont. (its pretty awesome though, 4 day work week, go party and extreme sport all weekend).
Also, I want another "Slipknot" Full Sail, that was awesome, but had one with out knowing what it was till later.

Jun 20, 2008 High pitched aroma—grapefruit, lemon, oatmeal, powdered sugar. Light amber with thin head. Stinging in thw mouth, fuzzies the tongue. Flavor that ventures toward the sour without grapefruit rind or metallic, but still a question of balance, a little caramel in the background

Jun 15, 2008 Draft. A light copper colored beer with a dense orangey head. The aroma is sweet with grassy notes of hops and malt - very crisp. The aroma is sweet and very malty with light notes of spices - especially elderberries, but also notes of grapefruit.

Jun 13, 2008 Bottle. Dark golden pour with a medium size head. Excellent aroma of sweet malt, hops, grapefruit. Flavor of hops more piney; nice maltiness in flavor and mouthfeel.
