COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This English style IPA is a full-flavored, full-bodied brew that has a big bold malt character and intense aromatics. It’s a well-balanced, golden-colored brew that has a crisp hop finish that doesn’t bite. With its palate cleansing finish, IPA is a perfect for highly spiced dishes with curry, ginger, garlic or cumin. This classic English style IPA is brewed with: 2-row Pale malt and is hopped with Challenger and East Kent Goldings hops

A fizzy yellow beer with a big white head. Aroma is bready yeasty malt, a vague fruitiness but not really hoppy at all. The flavor has a bit more hops, of the fruity variety, and a little bitter but really just kind of watery. The one good thing i can say about this beer is you don’t taste the slightly elevated ABV. Boring, one of my least favorite IPAs, if you can even call it that.

Pours a medium golden amber with a white head. Aroma and taste of sweet caramel malt some fruity and citrusy notes with some earthy piney hops. A medium body with moderate carbonation. Finish is caramel malt some citrus and grapefruit notes with some bitter hops ending, can use a bit more hops. Overall an average, but drinkable IPA.

One finger head. Clear crisp looking almost sparkling. Dull aroma. Served at 49.5. Not worthy of having again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a clear, golden yellow with very little head. Mild hop aroma. Flavor is grassy with some hop bite, some malt sweetness. This one is just a bit too mild-mannered.

Pale gold in color with thin white head. As IPAs go, I usually love the aroma and hate the flavor. This one was not an exception. Though not the best smelling IPA, it did have an interesting hint of vanilla amongst the malt and hop aroma. The taste was mildly malty and had the kind of hop sting that hangs on the tounge...and hangs, and hangs. I’ll probqbly have to scrape it off with my tooth brush.

Bottle. Dark golden with foamy white head. Smells pretty sweet for an IPA- like cotton candy plus a metallic note. Blech. Kind of tastes like dirt. I wouldn’t rate it quite so lowly if it was another style which I would expect to be kind of tasteless and flat. Of course, the trip probably didn’t help. While still not my favorite, I remember liking this better while drinking it at the brewery... As I drink it more and eat spicy food with it, the hops come out a bit more...

Huh. I bought four bottles of this in a mix-your-own six-pack at the supermarket because I could swear I remember someone telling me it’s a nice big IPA,. Either II remember wrong or whoever told me doesn’t know IPA from pinot noir., It’s not a bad beer, mind you; it’s just not anything like I expected. Seemed a lot maltier than it did hoppy. No hops on the finish, which IMHO is weak. Rating would be higher if it wasn’t masquerading as an IPA. Would drink it if I was working in the yard in the summer...but it just doesn’t have the oomph I anticipated. .

bottle. very underwhelming. can I get some hops? this ipa is pretty weak and tastes like it should be classified in the pale ale category or something else. Doesn’t taste bad but isn’t what I’m looking for in an ipa.

Bottle. Pours hazy, dark gold with orange hints. Good carbonation, fluffy head that retains alright. Nose is mostly pine and grapefruit. Citrusy hops on the tongue, slight vegetal character, a bit more grapefruit and some bitter orange. Bitter finish, but not lingering. Less malt forward than I’d have thought for a Brit-style IPA. This is better than its rep suggests.
