COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This English style IPA is a full-flavored, full-bodied brew that has a big bold malt character and intense aromatics. It’s a well-balanced, golden-colored brew that has a crisp hop finish that doesn’t bite. With its palate cleansing finish, IPA is a perfect for highly spiced dishes with curry, ginger, garlic or cumin. This classic English style IPA is brewed with: 2-row Pale malt and is hopped with Challenger and East Kent Goldings hops

Huh. I bought four bottles of this in a mix-your-own six-pack at the supermarket because I could swear I remember someone telling me it’s a nice big IPA,. Either II remember wrong or whoever told me doesn’t know IPA from pinot noir., It’s not a bad beer, mind you; it’s just not anything like I expected. Seemed a lot maltier than it did hoppy. No hops on the finish, which IMHO is weak. Rating would be higher if it wasn’t masquerading as an IPA. Would drink it if I was working in the yard in the summer...but it just doesn’t have the oomph I anticipated. .

Bottle. Tastes malty, nutty, like grapefruit, light sweet orange. Light/medium body and low carbonation. Smells like light citrus, right nutyness, light hops.

Bottle. Pours a copper color with white head. Grainy, bitter crackers, hoppy, earthy aromas. Bitter, hoppy, slight grassy flavors. May be a touch old.

Pleasantly mild-flavored brew with a nice piney hoppiness. Distinct but restrained bitterness that ends dry and a little tart. Quite refreshing.

Slight citrus aroma. Pale clear amber, white lacing head. Medium to light bodied, bitter in the aftertaste, slight acidity and maltiness at the start. Not my favorite, but okay.

"this is an ok beer, under average for an ipa. the aroma and flavor aren’t BIG enough, and it doesn’t bring anything new to the table, or anything great. i’m able to easily skip this one in the beer isle."

An OK IPA that is hoppy and a light taste but definitely not the best taste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Full Sail doesn’t lie when it says it is "ridiculously tasty!" Although it doesn’t have a strong Aroma, it’s flavor packs a pleasant hop-filled taste. And unlike traditional other IPAs, Full Sail doesn’t have that typical bitter bite/finish. Full Sail is a great beer that is well worth the try and a much welcomed addition to my IPA collection!

Transfer from BA review on 10-5-13- Poured from bottle into a pint glass Appearance – The beer pours a clear golden color with a one finger white head. Tons of tiny carbonation bubbles are seen streaming up through the brew. The head has a great level of retention, very slowly fading over time to leave a good level of streaky lace on the sides of the glass. Smell – The aroma is big of a citrus hop of lemon and grapefruit with a strong cracker smell. Along with these smells are some sweeter aromas of an orange nature and some other hop aromas of an herbal and spicy pepper nature. Overall the aroma is quite inviting. Taste – The taste begins with a light caramel sweetness and a bit of a cracker taste. Upfront there is also some hop of a grassy and grapefruit nature. As the taste moves on, it dries out with the caramel leaving the taste profile. The grapefruit grows more intense more toward the end with an increase in the grassy flavors and a new presence of a bit of herb. In the end, a dry, bitter, and slightly unbalanced hop flavor is left to linger on the tongue. Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the thinner side with a carbonation level that is on the lower side as well. The thinner body is quite nice for the drier and crisp tastes of the brew, but a higher carbonation level would have been slightly more appropriate. Overall – Not really anything too special here. A little too unbalanced in its bitter and dry flavors for me.

Poured an orange tint to a golden hued body with a fairly small off-white head. Aroma is quite floral, some malt sweetmess evident, but reminded me of European hops. Flavour brings some caramel yet it is somewhat overrun by a fairly acidic and astringent metallic hoppyness… I was expecting far more form this IPA. The finish is crisp and dry with bitter acidity and rendering of grapefruit peel. Ok IPA, but there’s so much more out there.
