Slightly sweet aroma, hints of bread and dark fruits. Pours a dark reddish-amber, with a dusting of off-white head. Flavor has hints of caramel and roasted notes, with just a touch of hop presence. Nothing over the top, just well balanced.

Jun 19, 2008 2008-06-24. Dark amber body, with a small beige head. Sweetish aroma, modest touches of caramel and floral hops. (6+) Similar flavour has a sweet malty start and very light hoppy bitterness throughout. (6+) Smooth, slightly fuller than average palate. Decent, quaffable, but a touch boring. Bottle from Mabel’s Seattle trip.

Jun 15, 2008 12oz bottle(courtesy of RSRIZZO)-A medium amber body with a small ring for a head. Aroma of malt, caramel, . Taste of roasted malt, caramel, and a bit of dryness on the back end of this light to medium bodied brew. I was expecting more from a LTD edition Lager than just this but it was still rather tasty. Nothing spectacular.

Jun 5, 2008 i was very impressed by this beer. When i ordered it i thought i was getting the traditional lager, however i was greeted with a dark clear beer wtih a small brown head. malty undertones with a lagerish crisp aftertaste. this beer was very refreshing in a different kind of way.

Jun 3, 2008 damn! i was expecting a crisp, little lager, but instead received something better and sweeter--a dunkel apparently: sweet marshmallow nose; copper body; nutty, low bitterness, no fruitiness, a little salty, somewhat sweet; good.

May 23, 2008 not like a lager at all. very dark, amber color with a malt nose surprisingly hoppy with a malt palate. i think it was very well balanced
