On draft at Flag brewing. Pour was golden with some amber hues, mediocre head, no real lacing to speak of. The aroma was strong grains, biscuits, and light fruits (lager crisp? Not really). The flavor followed the aroma, strong grains, biscuits, light fruits, honey, and some adjuncts. Mouthfeel was full for a lager, alcohol was smooth, but the malts were clearly big and a tad sticky for a lager. Like a premium strong lager, if there really is such a thing.

Hefty sample at Market of Choice. Light golden pour with a bubbly but small white head. Aroma is biscuit/cracker with a light bit of caramel and some citrus. Flavor is mostly that biscuit and caramel combo with a very tiny splash of citrus hop at the end. Very thin and not to my tastes at all.

The beer pours out a light amber/golden color with a 1" off-white bubbly head. Aroma is lightly sweetened graham crackers, a bit of bread, and sweet oranges. Flavor has an abundance of veggie character, buttered bread and a hint of fruit. Pretty blah.

Dark golden to light amber in color. Smallish off-white head. Some sweet malt and caramel in the nose. A hint of orange rind throws things off a bit. A pale malt start that grows into the middle and leads to a heavy lager/ML quality. Gets a bit cloying and sticky. Too heavy and fruity for my liking.

Bottle at Flying Saucer, Houston. Pours an average amethyst orange with a bready orange/light peach nose. Flavor is bready vegetables with an earthy backbone. Average mouthfeel. Too bready; it rots as it warms.

What to say about this one? More flavor than other premium lagers but it was the wrong kind of flavor. Buttery as hell with a dry finish.

12 oz bottle. Poured bronze. Taste like a good Summer Lager. The finish was a zesty citrus.

Oh no it’s limited! I will have to look elsewhere to find sour tasting gutter brew. Deep golden color. Notes of bread, sour wheat, corn, grain, and dms. Blah.
