| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 9, 2008 Pours a light amber color with minimal head and/or bubbliness. Aroma is a light maltiness, a hint of the hops, mostly sweetness... Flavors were similarly straightforward, but pretty "full-on". Sweet caramel malts, only a touch of bitterness, a nice balance, very very drinkable. Overall a great beer, not all that exciting, but when you want something straightforward, this would be a good choice... OldMrCrow (1188), Seattle, Washington, USA

Pours a warm amber orange, mild lager aroma, sweet caramel malt and too much stewed corn, too sweet and vegetal. I’m not nearly as impressed as the majority of previous raters. kamish (92), Lake Stevens, Washington, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jul 3, 2008 Solid beer. Pours light amber, small, quickly dissipating head. Strong malty aroma. Great, balanced taste. The hops come through just a bit, giving most of the flavor to the malt, medium body, well carbonated. Not an overwhelmingly impressive beer, but it’s quite tasty. Pours a nice clear orange amber with short lived off-white head. Aroma is very good, nice caramel and hops. Flavor is lightly sweet caramel with a pleasing faint bitter...light-medium body with med-high carbonation.....Over all, very tasty beer! DTM (541), Winters, California, USA
