Bottle. Pour is an orangish amber color with a big head. Aromas are of grain dust and some distant, floral hops. Flavor is blah... grainy, dusty with a touch of fruit undercurrents and some floral hops in the background. Ho hum...

Pours clear, with a pure amber body. A medium sized white head settles slowly to a wispy film with a pronounced outer rim. Minimal spots of lacing dot the glass. The aroma is based on overly sweet caramel malts, with ample floral hops, mild spices, and a touch of cream and alcohol adding depth. The flavor is very sweet from start to finish, overly so for my tastes. Caramel, toasty grains, honey, cream, and floral hops comprise the palate. The mouthfeel is medium bodied and pretty sticky from what is obviously a high sugar content. Finishes long and slightly sour. Solid for the style, but far from great.

My first ’Full Sail’. Brownish orange yellow. No findable date code on the bottle. Just says bottling number "02" on it. Aroma of regular old american lager, no adjuncts detected, thankfully. The look of it is not ubiquitous pale yellow american lager, it’s more orange and brown than that. A fairly friendly lager with some sweet helles attributes. Finish is typical helles, candylike in its taste with little bitterness in its character. Friendly and fairly well mannered. Finish is not ill mannered and is quit palateble, very little bitterness detected here.

12 oz. bottle. Golden yellow with decent white head. Mostly grainy, malty aromas with a decent crisp clean flavor profile. Okay!

12oz bottle. Bottle labeled enjoy by 12/14/07. Poured a medium and hazy orange color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of grains, toasted caramel, and wheat. Tastes of caramel, toasted malts, and the same cereal/wheat. Pretty good for a Premium Lager!

Tallahassee, Fl. - Leon Pub - 12 oz bottle. Murky, light orange pour, slight white head. Buttery aroma with some spicy accents. Flavor has some ripening vegetable notes, some buttery accents, honey sweetness and some kids corn cereal in the back end. Crisp, clean mouthfeel. Not outstanding in any one area - just all around solid. Very decent refreshing drinkable lager.

12 oz bottle

I was looking for something light at the store and saw this on a bottom shelf. It seems to be holding up very well but I will probably drink the other five bottles as soon as possible. It seems to be one that people either love or are indifferent about. Personally I found it to be an enjoyable session beer.

Aroma / Appearance - The coppery body was disturbed by moderate carbonation. Pears, wheat, honey soaked graham crackers and a hint of alcohol form a nose which is not terribly complex but for the style quite nice.

Flavor / Palate - The taste of canned peaches took a little bit of getting used to but the caramel Twix that followed balanced things well. A faint hoppiness lingers on the tongue for about two minutes following each sip. This was a nice summer beer for drinking on a hot day when the intensity and thickness of an imperial stout or porter would be too much.
