Commercial Description:
Full Sail LTD Series LTD means Limited Edition. But around here it means something even more: Live The Dream. And in celebration of our 21st birthday we're doing something every brewer dreams of: Concocting an ever-changing series of small batch beers, available for a limited time only. Each new LTD Series brew will showcase an original lager recipe, pimped out by our ace crew of libationary wunderkinds. Bottling No. 02: A light-bodied, nonetheless hella good limited edition lager courtesy of the mad skills of the Full Sail crew. Crisp. Golden. Ultra drinkable. Totally LTD. Look for it Summer 2007. http://www.fullsailbrewing.com/pu_ltd02.cfm

Clear golden orange, small to moderate head with blah lacing and retention. Aroma is bready with a touch of caramel and alcohol. Minimal hopping. Medium to light body, solid but limited. Very drinkable.

Bottled. Poured a clear golden colour, with a medium off-white head. Has a gentle, creamy hops aroma to it. Rather average honestly but not bad.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of Degarth. Clear, deep golden with an off-white head. Lightly sweet, malty nose. Medium body with sweetish, clean malts. The finish has a light bitterness and some alcohol presence. 270907

Nose of yeast initially with hints of lemongrass. Pours a sparkling golden. The mostly diminishing off-white head is super creamy with fair lace. The brew is somewhat sweet, but just a touch with light acidity. The light to medium body is soft and creamy, the finish feels crisp. A perftect summer session offering. Tastes more like a dortmunder helles than a premium lager to me.

Bottle. [Courtesy of Papsoe] Average white fizzy head that mostly diminished. Fair display of lacework. Clear sparkling golden color. Aroma of light floral notes, grain, caramel, hint of citrus. Light to medium bodied with a light dry texture and average carbonation. Light sweet flavor with some bitter hoppy notes. Light dry and bitter finish.

Bottle. Pours sparkling copper with an average, frothy, off-white head, somewhat diminishing, fair lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (toasted grain, cereal, straw), average hops (herbs, flowers), average yeast (sweat, dough, horse blanket) with notes of cooked corn and butter. Medium bodied, creamy texture, average carbonation and a metallic finish. Average duration, moderate sweetness and acidity, light bitterness.

Had this beer on 6/4/2007. Aroma is a light sweet malt scent with citrusy back tones of hops. Color deep bright gold with good carbonation and a nice tight white head. Taste is light and sweet with hop tones on the end. Starting with a light body it goes down easy with a foamy feel. Finish is a mild sweet malt flavor that is backed with a faint bitterness and ends with a crisp hop flavor, then a mild citrus taste. Its not a beer I would go out and buy again, but not something I would say no to.

Bottle poured a clear orange with a small diminishing ivory head. Aromas of bread, light carmel and a hint of fruitiness. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of bread, light carmel and a hint of citrus with a crisp malty finish.
