8/13/2007: Full Sail LTD 02 is a brilliant coppery orange color, clear, and has a lasting foamy off-white head. There is some light and delicate lacing left in the wake of the receeding head. The aroma is pale malt, bread, some weak spicy hops, and a slightly yeasty tinge. A nice malt base supports most of the flavor, but it seems a bit grainy. A balanced amount of spicy hops brings up the finish and lingers on the palate and in the back of the through. The alcohol starts to pop out as the beer warms. This beer has a medium body and is pretty smooth. It is much lighter in color, depth, and flavor than the <a href=http://www.ratebeer.com/beer/full-sail-limite Sail Limited Edition Lager (LTD 01) which I prefer above the LTD 02.

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 10, 2007 Bright clear orange, off-white head with decent retention but no real lace. Malty, earthy aroma, maybe a little cabbage. Malty semi-sweet palate with tons of hop character. Reminds of old-school Creemore Springs when it was on tap when I lived in Kingston Ontario. GOOOOOD! | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 7, 2007 Thin off-white head, slow to fade. Translucent orange body, evident light carbonation. The aroma is of grain, doughy malts, ligt tartness, a touch of grassy hops. Flavors of fresh grain, maize, starch, lightly tart and moderately sweet. Bitterness is very light, acidity almost nonexistent. Palate is light-medium bodied, very lightly carbonated, a touch sticky, semi-smooth. Finishes somewhat syrupy, lightly sweet, grains lingering. thedm (3834), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 5, 2007 This draft brew from the Oregon Brewers festival poured a head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a transparent very softly carbonated light red brown colored body and a poor lacing. The mild aroma was malty and dough. The mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of malt hops sweet and vinous. | 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 3, 2007 Bottle from Trader Joes; Nose of light caramel, grain, and grassy hops; It’s the exact same orange as the label with a medium, carrot colored off-white head; flavor has a little sweetness contrasting with light hop bitterness, a little starchiness, and grainy malt; Pretty good lager, better go get some more for hot days! | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 2, 2007 Copper hued pour, thin consistency. Sweet potatoes and corn on the nose. Metallic. A bit hot and sulphuric. Biscuity flavor in general with a kind of iron and lemon tang. Ample and decently proportioned. Starts to get a little funky as it warms. Mint leaves and maybe some mild juniper berries. Lightly dry finish with a wave of thick malts. Brown sugar smacks a little sweet. More or less weightless in the mouth. Smooth and weirdly interesting.
