bottle 12 oz dated 082208. Not quite clear amber/gold pour produced a minimal, quickly dissipating off white head, almost no lace. Aroma hints of somewhat sweet metallic/English maltiness that full sail seems to use in many of their brews. Flavor is the same somewhat sweet maltiness having a somewhat viscous above average abv characteristic to it. Into medium bodied with plenty of hop bitterness especially on the finish. Discernable hop flavor was lacking. I think the same ingredients would have made a better mild English style ale. The above average lager abv is a liability IMO. I don’t know who or what this above average abv offering was aimed at but good luck. I’ll remember now to steer clear of it. I would not use the word crisp to describe this brew. 8/25/08 I’m dropping this .2 to 2.7. Too alcohol and sweetness forward for me. The 6er was harder to finish than I thought.

12oz bottle. Pours a clear, deep golden color. Head is small and off white. Light hops on the nose, lots of grain. A pretty damn good lager.

On draft at the Full Sail Brewery in Hood River, OR. Nice 4 oz sample. Very unique. Almost a buttery lager with a crisp and smooth finish.

shiny bronze lager with a nice white head finely beaded and slight bit of lace. Grassy floral hop nose with a low malt (cracker like) Flavor: Dry cracker like (almost touch of breadiness) with clean hop bite spicy, floral and grassy again Finish: Dry long lasting with spicy hop and a touch of malt sweetness Overall: A really nicely made lager quite enjoyable - is it something to search for not sure but nothing to pass up. There is a touch of caramel in the finish which seems to distract from the finish which leans towards being clean. Cheers!

Bottle. Bronze beer with a cream colored head. Low malty, nutty, mineral aroma. Malty, nutty flavor with light grass and caramel. Medium body. Caramel lingers with a bit of grass.

On-tap at Breakwater in O’Side. Pours clearish amber with a good size, offwhite head, some lace. Smells crisp malty sweet. Tastes somewhat crisp sweet cereal malty. Medium body, good carbonation.

Pours a transparent orangeish almost red color with a small white head. aroma of malt and grass. Flavor is malt, hops, corn and well balanced. Decent lager, but not something i’d go out of my way for.

Fantastic lager with a bit more "clackers" than a Samuel Smiths Pure Brewed Lager and other contemporaries. Great pour and color and the aroma is solid. Fantastice after taste to compliment it’s overall components. Fantasitc brew!!
