surprisingly fruity aroma and flavor. good malts profile, im curious about what kind of yeast was used. this beer is almost ale-ish until the finish and then it’s clean and somewhat dry.

Malt forward cereal and grain aroma with some grassy hops apparent. Brilliantly clear deep golden-copper body is topped by a decent off white head that recedes to a partial cover. Clean flavour profile is quite sweet and a bit bready with grass-like hop flavour and medium bitterness. Light body with fait to moderate carbonation. Pretty middle of the pack. Tulip glass. Just above fridge temperature. Bottle (BB 110908, Bottleworks, Aug-08).

12oz bottle. Pours a clear dark gold/amber with a one finger white head that receded faster than my hairline. Nose is sweet malt, grain and light honey. Taste is honey, malt and mild hops on the backend. Medium sticky mouth feel. This beer went almost flat quickly and is a bit too sweet for me.

pours an amber/orange under a large creamy off-white head. light malty aroma with some bubblegum scented hops. very malty flavor with a doughy, cookie character. medium-full bodied with sharp carbonation. light hops and alcohol show up as well. this is best suited for cool to cold weather...its no summer sipper!

Pours a golden color w/ a modest head that leaves behind a silky sheet and lace. Strong malty aromas w/ biscuits. Medium nectar w/ mild bittering and a high pulp malt component. Semi sweet w/ defined biscuit followthrough. Flavors lean toward apple and stonefruit while the finish lingers malty sweet and bitters up a tad.

Pours a clear, dark gold with almost no head. Aroma is light, with hints of fruit and grain. Flavor is a bit sweet, slightly bitter and well balanced, but has a strong hint of alcohol on the tongue (more than I’d expect from a 6.4% ABV beer). Palate was highly fizzy and odd when cold, but became a bit smoother as the beer warmed. Regarless, the beer was overly dry at both temps. Overall a decent lager, but I didn’t like this as much as LTD 1.
